Yes, I've noticed that too. He's so focused. reminds me of that reality show he had about his first ? tour and he wasn't even saying anything when he was watching himself dance, haha. he forgot about the camera. and he only relaxed and joked again after the dancing was done and he got to look at other footage.

I think the difference in the reactions is that in the first group, these idols are actors in another person´s production (director, producer, agency) while with Taemin he is the visionary in his own MV. Thus like a painter stepping back and looking at his canvas with objectivity and a critical eye, so does Taemin watching himself in a video. It is not a subjective experience but an objective one at that point.

But I think, taemin as the artist here would want us to be immersed on his character here. he may be cute, but I think it's also be better to see him in this mv as the role he is portraying. He may doubt his acting here in the mv if we could just see him being cute. P.s. that's why i remember shindong saying in the sj returns that people may think them as funny as they fans seem them that way on variety shows that even if they are performing, people may see them as just funny. Even id they do it seriously, people will still see them as hilarious, and they don't want it to be just be be seen that way especially that are an artist as well.

I don't think reaction video to his own Mv is interesting to watch, i meant he's shock, screaming etc. We won't get these kinds of reaction from him since he is an artist who have visions, he always evaluating the shot and giving input etc so the commentary is perfect. We get to know his visions, ideas and message he wanted to convey. i love watching and reading his interviews because of those reasons, i got to know his deep insight

yeah it wouldn't be much of a reaction because he was part of the process of putting the MV together all along. I really like this style, it fits an artist like him 😊
