‘Disgusted and insulted’: Former AFL player blasts Labor Party for Dan Andrews statue 

Former AFL player and hotel owner Paul Dimattina has strongly criticised the idea of former Victorian premier Dan Andrews receiving a statue, calling the politician a “moron”.
Mr Dimattina took aim at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s “smug” Labor Party claiming the proposition is an “insult”.
“I don’t think they realise the destruction they are causing our country,” Mr Dimattina told Sky News host James Macpherson.
“We are going to spend $100,000 or whatever it is on a statue of a moron?
“I am gobsmacked, and I think like a lot of people, totally disgusted and insulted about what’s happening.
“It’s just another kick in the teeth - we are stuck with these Labor morons for another year and hopefully people will wake up eventually to the crook Dan Andrews is.”
