I absolutely love Dream Home Makeover. I love the designs and I especially love the family dynamic aspect of the show. Syd is the absolute BEST!!! He absolutely cracks me up!!!! He is so funny!!! So glad I found this show on Netflix!!! I’m late to the game but I’m obsessed now!!!

I live in Asia but I love Studio Mcgee's & The LifestyledCo's interior designs I discovered them during the pandemic mid 2020 hahaha

A bit disappointing season. Same style as other seasons, nothing new, the only decent thing to see was a wine room. I understand they have a style but it's just more of the same.

So much hair and makeup for Shea to then talk for 5 seconds lol they are great but this wasn’t my favorite interview. Obviously a bit rushed and didn’t really get to show much. I still love watching the show though. I still feel like some of the jokes are a bit rehearsed though. Fixer upper felt more organic, off the cuff and natural. Syd is funny though I just can’t put my finger on it.

Here in Utah, Studio Mcgee isn't even in the top 15 design firms and have pretty low ratings. Designers like Anne Marie Barton (AMB Design) and Jackson & Leroy, design homes and interiors that studio mcgee could never accomplish. Just looking them up, you'll immediately see the difference of what they accomplish in comparison to the same designs that studio mcgee does

@@land_banes2639 Anne Marie does have a show on HGTV, but the show is only to showcase the homes she designs. Both Anne marie and Jackson & Leroy are way too busy to do full on makeover shows they're not about that and don't need the money.

@@Ufollowme2 well good for them. I know AMB designs I watch her vlog here but her videos were 4 yrs ago I mean you dont have to be mean or bitter. Studio MCgee is an empire & doing well in their business & u cant deny that. Personally I like their designs it suits my style.

Syd is kinda useless. His commentary is usually cringe-y and it seems like Shea is just tolerating him. Comes across on their show as well. She needs to go solo.
