And, suddenly wondering if they are going to be arrested for complicit actions! 😮 Adding, I would not have crossed the Conald either, so while she should have, she could have been severely dealt with. It is not legal for a lawyer to agree with their client if they know that the client's interpretation of a gag order is incorrect. The lawyer has a duty to provide accurate legal advice and representation to their client, and agreeing to something that is not in line with the law or the terms of the gag order would be a violation of that duty. If the lawyer knowingly allowed their client to make false statements about the gag order, they could potentially face disciplinary action or legal consequences. It is important for lawyers to always act in accordance with the law and ethical standards in their representation of clients. Why did the Judge not address this issue ?

I watch the little rectangle in the bottom right corner of the ad where the count down (usually 5 secs) shows, and tap it as soon as 'skip' shows. Some of them don't have that helpful device. If there's a X (usually in one of the top corners, I tap it. Otherwise, I stretch the timer ribbon along the bottom of the screen towards the right. I don't get fussed about 'paying' 5 secs for ad-time when I'm not paying for the channel.

Crocodile tears from Hope Hicks? Perhaps. But how about the interpretation that she is a talented but naive woman who got emotionally wrapped up with a toxic narcissist? (an understatement). I have worked with extreme narcissists, and they can be incredibly sweet and kind and even nurturing if you are willing to worship them, play their game, and share their fantasy of themselves. When we heard Hicks say things somewhat positive about Trump at first I was a little shocked. But then I thought it actually makes sense. I had the sense that Hicks had a side of her that a devotional side toward Trump and if this is so, kudos to Hicks. It must have been an incredibly difficult thing to speak truth that would be damaging to her former god.

It's hard to imagine how to awaken awareness of the harm in this. Least of all for those who accept 'winning' as the highest value, not to mention for the rest of the world and humanity. I fear not just that winning is prized above all, but in the process sincerity becomes something to be ashamed of. A terrible situation.

Naive, hungry for a nurturing father, good natured - I don't know if that is Hicks. But it seems like she could be. I saw an interview with Karen Mcdougal talking about her 9 month affair with Trump. She fits the profile exactly. She confessed that she truly thought Trump loved her. I quite imagine this sleazy, appalling figure we see in Trump in every speech would be very different when he is in the company of an attractive woman who has a side of her that wants to win his approval. She could well ignore the glaring red flags, and Trump might treat her with an almost fatherly kindness. I know it's hard to imagine, but I have seen something similar in my life. Scaramucci! There's a character. lol. He's hard to figure out.

My God, like it or not, that was parenthetically one of the best round tables I’ve ever seen. Cutting, candid, and insightful. Sadly you all bit to the bone and needed too. It had to be done-we have lied to ourselves much too long. England will have to take back the hypocritical colonies who stood up and rebelled against the tyrannical posture of a heartless monarch if we continue to lie to ourselves about the injustice done to us as a nation. I love the Republican platform as a whole and former President Trump, but we need to be honest about the dishonest actions on everyone’s part. These are not easy pills, but if we are going to recover-we must swallow them. We did not like President Nixon stepping down, but we needed to heal. We need to heal again. Take the meds.
