Egyptian podcaster Rahma Zein recounts her experience at the Gaza solidarity encampment and protests at UCLA.
“The students were extremely peaceful. On the other side, utter harassment,” she said, in reference to the pro-Israel counterprotesters who attacked the encampment on 30 April.

There is not genocide in Gaza....first learn what genocide is. As long as birth number is higher than the death number there is not genocide.

Wow, you've cracked the code! So, by your logic, as long as people are still being born, everything's just fine, right? Who knew that the measure of genocide was a simple birth-to-death ratio? Let's ignore the systematic destruction, the blockades, the bombings, and the countless lives uprooted and shattered. Because, hey, as long as more babies are being born than people are being killed, nothing to see here, right? Maybe try actually learning what genocide entails-systematic killing, forced displacement, destruction of a people's way of life. It's not just about numbers; it's about intent and actions aimed at destroying a group. So, perhaps a bit more research and a lot less oversimplification would do you some good.
