Can we see Lammy on Master Mind again. Comic Relief maybe. This is the worst PM we have ever had Starmer she was second worst. Lammy is an international laughing stock but it isnt funny. This country is going to pot.
Even though Truss had only 49 days as our British PM but she wasn't as bad as Lunatic minded Starmer who got hated by our whole uk nation for he is Anti-British and heartless too.
No. Voters felt they had no other option. I know of a pub that was paying £8’800 for electricity in 2020. In January, February and March 2023 it was over £6’000 per month. Of course voters didn’t wake up to the fact that it will only get worse under Labour.
@@Luke-y7b Getting opinions from until very recently the worst PM this country has ever had is like asking a mugger to give self defense classes to his victims.
@gregstretton8584 I am telling you what actually happened. Truss was going to stop mass immigration and the establishment had to stop her at all costs. The press put out lies, and the TV news put out lies. The people fell for it. The reason why no central bank should be independent. You can't have a central bank working against the government.
In support of Truss, just to say, whilst I didn't agree with everything in her Chancellor's first budget, it was at least a Conservative budget and, for those that weren't taking notes, the Bank of England was largely responsible for the markets hickup, it turns out, and much of that was due to not seeing the rise in energy prices which impacted the price of everything. This led to increasing inflation that hit everyone hard. The markets reacted badly to all the information around at that time but started a recovery soon after. A similar thing happened when Norman Lamont struggled with keeping us in Euro Exchange rate mechanism and this led to a market disaster as well but no one called for the PM's head back then.
Hilarious that they forced Truss out, who admittely may have gone a bit too big, but they forced her out in favour of being boiled in the pot like a frog by Starmer. Truss was treated very unfairly and for what? Starmer? What a joke of a country. Truss at least understood that there is a false dichotomy "taxing" and "the rich". She understood we are locked in an eternal death loop of hating wealthy people and yet expecting them to pay vastly more than average. We need another Truss except do what she wanted to do over 5 years and tone it down a little. The bank of england and IMF are all terrified of doing anything other than sliding slowly down into the oil slick. Truss came in with a new vision and of course they shot her down - the BofE and IMF and so on have a pretty nice racket going on, they all get healthy salaries and have plenty of work, last things they want is disruption to the decline they are so good at managing. So they destroyed Truss. The Truss debacle taught us all that according to the 'experts', managed decline = competence. Risk = incompetence. Yet nothing worthwhile was ever done without risk. And so we continue to decline, because we are managed by bureaucrats who are afraid of everything.
Well I never thought I would ever agree with Liz Truss but this interview has totally changed my opinion of her, I agree with everything she said and drastically changed my opinion of her she speaks absolute sense..
She was sold down the river by the BOE who part of the WEF wanted their people in place and carrying out their policies which Truss didn't want. She wanted proper Conervative policies. She may have closed the borders too. However the civil service wouldn't carry out these policies as they were all left wing. This is why Brexit was never carried out properly because the political class didn't want it. They look down on the ordinary people of this country
