TNM’s Shivani Kava and Anisha Sheth travel to Holenarasipura, a town in Karnataka that’s been in the headlines for being the hometown of Prajwal Revanna. A Janata Dal Secular MP from Hassan and grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda is accused of sexually abusing multiple women. He allegedly shot thousands of videos of this abuse, which were circulated across Hassan district on pendrives and also widely posted on social media.
We spoke to residents, political leaders, and activists, who spoke about the fear in the region, the power held by the Deve Gowda family, and Prajwal Revanna’s record.

This is all drama for the election vote. BJP has got neha's case and Congress has got prajwal revanna's case. Until the election both these cases will be highlighted and after the election both these cases will vanish. After the election you will never hear neha's case and also the pendrive case of revanna will come out as fake that somebody has edited it and eventually they will ask sorry for devegowda's family. Most of the population of Hassan Mandya surrounding is dominated by Vokkaligas(Gowdas) and Devegowdas belongs to same caste so they'll never gonna speak against him as Lingayats don't speak against Yadiyurappa. Another reason is Revanna is a very arrogant and cruel person so people fear to speak against them.

Investigative agency or journalist can find more facts. If they have access to those videos, they need to identify those female victims with the help of adhaar or voter card database. Without revealing their identity, off the camera agency/journalist needs to talk with those victims as much as possible. As video numbers are huge and if these are not morphed, it is a huge crime. Perhaps only defence could be these are morphed video which needs to be investigated by agency with modern technology.
