The bike was defective and the entire wheel came off, throwing him into oncoming traffic. He died instantly (at 23 years old) of massive head trauma. The young man that hit him was also traumatized. I feel for him as well as my Dad.
It’s honestly really upsetting that rewards always have to be offered in situations like this for anyone to say anything. People shouldn’t have to be bribed with money to be a good person and do the right thing
It’s not so much a bribe as it’s life changing money . Let’s say in another example it’s a witness who saw a gang member shoot an innocent person and testify about the murder and now the gang wants to get even they kill that person . Whoever this person is has a family and people who loved them too but now perhaps those loved ones relied on this person for financial support and now they don’t have that . The money could help them even if it’s for simple bills.

This reminds me of a male friend's murder a few years back. It ended up being his ex's boyfriend who killed him. He was ambushed too. They had a custody hearing coming up. Something to consider.

Is there a child custody “situation” with his ex?? This happens all too often in custody cases when a parent isn’t getting their way or doesn’t want the children having a relationship with the other parent. He was clearly targeted - tragic beyond words!!

It's always someone you know, he just dropped off his older kids at the exes house and right afterwards this happened could it be a angry x because he moved on and made a new life I apologize if that's offensive to her but you know that the detectives are exploring that as a real possible motive and reason... The x could have easily had a hitman put the tire in the road and have them kill him it's just all way to coincidental
It could have been anyone of his family members or friends too because yes it seemed very personal it didn't sit right with me. They shot the dad and left the baby unharmed. Whoever did it I believe was waiting for him

Thank God the baby is okay!! 🥺 That poor woman. My heart aches for that family. As a mother that also has four young children, I can’t imagine the unbearable pain she must be going through thinking about them not having their father around.

Hate to be so cynical, but is the ex-wife being closely monitored? Custody issues can be so volatile, and she knew he was coming and the route he'd likely take back. Like I said, I hate to be so suspicious, but we've seen way too many of these cases. So sorry for his family. 😔

i hate to say it but some of the drivers of those big pick up trucks do seem to feel like they own the road and Lord help anyone who gets in their way or dares to drive too slow. I've had them tailgate me when I was already driving above the posted speed limit.

I assume that the detectives have interviewed the current wife, the ex, and others who are close to this man. If I’m wrong they all need to be fired. Prior to the Gabby Petito case I would have thought your question is naive but the North Port police showed us that not everyone who has been promoted to detective has half a brain.

I'm sorry but only 2 people knew he'd be on that road, his ex-wife and current wife!! One of them arranged his murder!! One of them is connected to someone with that truck!! Or it was a case of mistaken identity but it doesn't sound like it.
