It was announced in August of 2023. This position was previously held by King Charles when he was the Prince of Wales, and now is being transferred to Prince William. And I highly doubt that Harry was in tears about anything related to the RF. He may be in tears over how utterly unpopular he and his wife have become, which is justly deserved.
