‘It’s a clown word’: Alex Stein blasts the state of American politics 

Comedian Alex Stein has blasted the state of American politics as a “clown world”.
“We need more people lampooning these politicians,” Mr Stein told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“When you go up there and speak seriously, they don’t pay attention at all.
“I’m not saying everybody has to go there and put on a … wig like Alex Strenger, but it definitely puts them on their toes and heels - whatever metaphor you want to use.
“That’s just the state of American politics - it’s a clown word.”
