Going high was more about not really pointing out of what is going on or how to deal with it on the civic front. We have more power as civilians than most people realize which is why learning civics is so important. I really don't care if it's Blue or Red, Democrat or Republication because after all we are all living together on this land as a country, a community. What I truly care about is if our leader is a person with a heart, integrity, and moral. A person who doesn't lie to hurt others, who doesn't turn us Americans against each other. And most importantly, a person who does not commit crimes, whom will be a good leader, a good role model for all Americans.

In 2008 there was a Democratic candidate for president who had arranged for a woman to be paid to conceal an affair. There were people on that campaign who were prepared to blow the whistle on their own candidate if it looked like he'd get within shouting distance of the nomination. That never happened because the affair was exposed by, ironically enough, the National Enquirer. Did none of these people consider, even for a moment, the national interest?
