I once had a discussion with a bunch of friends on who would qualify as the greatest Indian actor ever and we ended with consensus around KH… after considering Amitabh, Naseer, Dilip Kumar etc. No one has the range of Kamal across commerce and art, dance, music, singing, languages etc. And most importantly pure passion for doing something at the highest level of excellence and putting everything at stake for it.

And I worked in production at Bombay in the 90s finishing off with a couple of years at UTV. KH evry film is unique and every movie each and every frames like even though good ,bad and ugly in silver screen. I dont know why he does not have an Oscar award. For sagar, sagarasangam, swathi muthyam, indian 1, dasawatharam, the clut classic Nayakan , moondrum pirrare, pushka vimana, virumudi, apporva sahadorgal, anbesivam etc. His acting skills are un comparebal. And no actor in india competitor. He is very much deserved, Bharat Ratna, other than the dadasaheb phalke Award.
