So if small businesses is the backbone of our economy. Why is it every where you put a Walmart home Depot and other national stores in cities and small towns why do all the small businesses go out of business. And why are these businesses only hire part time workers where they have to get on social services and food stamps and get Medicaid all government founded programs to survive. They should pass legislation to have these businesses that are corporate owned be told they have to give people 40hrs a week and give them health benefits. But no the owners getting billions of dollars lining their bank accounts while people under them can't even afford to keep a dime in savings for a rainy day. If you are on any type of government assistance you are only allowed so much in the bank then you are cut off assistance. Plus all those extra social services workers they have to hire to cover the extra people that should have been able to count on their jobs to keep them working enough hours to live without government assistance. It's an easy fix. If you think about it.

Helene caused massive damage to Asheville NC which is extremely liberal and is the most spiritually dark town I have ever lived in. I have never in my life seen a conservative or independent leaning American celebrate the widespread destruction of "blue state" areas. When Maui suffered I remember people sending money and talking about the need for those people to get more help. Joe Biden was recently asked if he was going to send federal resources to help the states affected by the hurricane. He said we had no resources but just sent Israel and Ukraine $8 billion more a piece. We need actual government for Americans to restore this nation and heal the divide.
I can see helping Isreal, not Ukraine; they have the entire Europe closer to them to help. Send the Ukraine money to Maui and give the land back to the natives.

The areas that were hit was Right down the middle of the "Black Belt". the "Black Belt" is a location with High amounts of Black and brown population due to slavery. That was where the Majority of slaves were held Captive and after the civil war ended, some left but others stayed in the area.... Vast Majority of people who were effected or probably killed was most likely Black or Brown.
