Priyanka Chaturvedi rightly said that the new Parliament is leaking. The British Times old Parliament was so strong that there was no need of a new Parliament building. Our PM just wanted his name to be mentioned in the inauguration of new Parliament building with his photos all around. Finally the new Parliament building is leaking. This clearly indicates that all contractors and subcontractors used were substandard. More problems to come in the future.
Old parliament was overcrowded as hell. How will you manage increased mp count in that? New parliament building is necessary for that very same reason. That being said, this water leak incident does put the quality of building in question. An expert committee must be constituted to determine safety of the building.
It wasn't 'overcrowded as hell'. Apart from delimitation point, BJP/RSS has an irk with everything related with the freedom struggle because they don't have any role in that. So just wanted to remove old parliament from public view. @@rajashashankgutta4334
