Woe to any fool who isn't good at mashing the eject button, for Monarch's hunger is endless, her self preservation dead and gone, and her IQ, the room temperature of Alaska in January.
Monarchs when a titan has health: "ok gotta be smart with how i play" Monarchs when they see the flashing yellow and black of a doomed titan: "FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD"
As the flying teacup says “they go from cognitive and sensible to lustful and barbaric to them that black and yellow bar only says food and they will do anything to get close to you”
Here we see the Monarch in its natural habitat. The monarch is a formidable titan that grows in lethality with age. At the peak of thier lifespans, Monarchs can become more durable than apex predators such as Scorches and Legions. However, every Monarch suffers from a strange compulsion. A compulsion to consume any weakened prey. This often sends the Monarch into a frenzy, forcing it to chase down the injured titan to feed, even if the Monarch does not truly need it. This often leads to two results. The monarch successfully feeding, and leaving with a full belly, or, being led into the entire enemy team by a sly Ronin, often resulting in the Monarchs swift and brutal death at the hand of larger, more brutal Legion and Scorch titans. It should be noted that Monarch titans lack any defensive ability, which is unusual compared to it's Kin. This often leads to young, undeveloped Monarchs to be very skittish, often only engaging lone titans. However, as the Monarch ages, it will become faster, and much more capable of fighting in larger fights. In conclusion, Monarchs are a strange breed of titan that should be hunted and destroyed at an early age. This task should be preformed primarily by Northstars, Legions and Tone titans, as they can often leverage long Ranges against the Monarch. This ensures that if the three previously mentioned titans go into the doomed state, they have ample time to escape or further damage the now charging Monarch before it can feast upon thier nutrious batteries.
Good hunting for food, but you should switch your Titan kit to Turbo Engine. Having two dashes is a massive tactical multiplier on what you can do. Even further, using it with Rearm gives you four dashes.
Was that Scorch any smarter, he would have thrown one canister at both closed halls. Most Monarchs would fall for that, to the point of depleting their own health.
As a monarch main for at least a year now i have not known that many other players have this energy thief urge to consume It appears that i simply know when it is appropriate to consume and when it is more efficient to destroy
I play rockets-fog-smartmissles monarch (hard to get, but pure fun on lvl3) so I prefer to stay out of close combat and take faster shield generating instead of battery consumption
This has nothing to do with the video, but I remember blocking a Monarch from escaping a nuclear eject. To add injury to insult I was running Scorch and was currently giving them a dose of flame shield.
Good Monarch players are just so damn hard to fight. Automatic shield regen and the battery steal execution means those bastards are almost always rocking an overshield and can more easily heal their Titans than anyone else in the game. Even with a lower damage output compared to a Legion, Scorch, or Tone, they have the health to compensate for the lower damage output. Still not as annoying as Ronins, tho.
I know people shit on monarch a lot, and i do agree. Monarch players are either annoying absolute sweats or low brain power idiots. Now, i do main monarch, but only because i find her good against Pilots, and im mediocre against titans. Shes fun, but i do prefer playing as pilot most of the time
Almost like monarch is the easiest to use titan in the game, and the most forgiving titan to play. Just sit in the back of the map and fire away and suddenly you win.
@@teapouter6109 dude. You use monarch with arch rounds, accelerator and energy thief I use monarch rapid rearm, more rockets, energy field and tracking salvo. We are not the same. To top it off I can tell you I've played for longer :) the smart pistol used to be a primary. The wingman used to be a 2 hit kill to the body. The hemlock had a 6 round burst called starburst through a burn card. We. Are. Not. The same.
@@teapouter6109 even worse. It's ok I've got plenty of ways to destroy your pesky lil wall ;) I remember back in my day, using a burn card, you could place 2 particle walls at the same time. Shit was insane
