I still think his biggest problem is he's too chaotic at times. He tries to do everything at 1000 MPH. Sometimes it miraculously works, but he often loses control and loses the ball. I'd like to see him slow down and get a little more technical.
No it’s not at all! Pioli put him as a 10 for 3 games and he looked utterly lost. He cannot control a midfield nor create opportunity through attacking. If he is out there, he will be benched after a few games. No one who understands this game and watched Pulisic would say he is a 10. A 10 has far more responsibility than playing a penetrating pass in the final 3rd. Pulisic is not a 10 and will never be a 10!
@@jonpool9030 A, freaking, men to that man. Pulisic is an average player at best. He can’t beat players 1v1 which is why most attacks start on the left with Leao! His passing is not great and his touch fails him a lot… just watch the Copa game against Panama. Dude lost the ball 6-7 times simply because of a bad touch and then lost the ball another 10 or so times distributing out of the back.
@@richardgrace5043 for fan boy clicks? It’s obvious Rafa didn’t have much to say other than what we all know. Rafa is focused on his career and what he needs to do, he doesn’t care what Christian does. Imagine you were the best at your job and have an ego and a media person asks you about someone else that plays your position.
They’re talking like Pulisic didn’t make a name for himself at Dortmund at RW. That’s the position he played his best football when he was young. Chelsea turned him into a LW but he was a lot more inconsistent there and now they’re trying the number 10 at Milan. I think he’s a versatile player but after all these injuries a change in his playing style, maybe CAM would be a better fit
If you haven't heard, you're not paying attention because you're a misogynist. Those of us who watch all of US soccer, not just the mediocre men, see how well the women consistently do and who the young stars are on that team.
@@davidt3956did you seriously just say "if you haven't heard of this player you are a misogynist" What are you a libtard? That's not misogyny. Educate yourself before you make a stupid statement. Throwing out woke mind virus talking points like a bot.
While he did very well last year he was absolutely being held back at RW. He needs space to dribble inside on his right foot, not possible as RW. You would see him running out of ideas often and passing back, he needs to drive at defenders, that's his game. Hes also very dynamic, great passer, great dribbler and can shoot with both feet. He will be a huge problem for teams floating centrally. Milan haven't even seen whats he's truly capable of yet
@@alinoskillz977 I'm talking strictly in the USA. She caused a lot of drama because of her anti American rethoric. When she retired Americans everywhere (even the ones that don't watch the sport) were happy because they wouldn't have to see her acting up in the media
It would be a big move for a US soccer player to spearhead the attack to a top club in Europe. This would be a great thing. USA players typically downgrade from their positions in the attack. So this is a very high praise for Pulisic.
@@shawn1819 that's why milan didn't win a single trophy 😮 got knocked out from domestic competitions, got humbled in Derby after losing 5-1, knocked out in UCL and Europa league and as soon as captain America came they also lost the chance of winning serie A which they were dominating before he came
@@shawn1819 All that thanx to pulisic 😮 who not only helped Milan bottle each n every competition but wasn't the top scorer or top assister 😮 but somehow he was amazing lol 😢
@@savage1717 bro jus say ur hater. I never said he wuz the best on the team. Or the reason for Milans triumphs or failures. All im sayin is for as much shi as the world gives the US about football. Pulisic is pretty dam good representative of wat footballers over here are and have the potential to be
Yes, Herc, because the first thing my fanatic buddies or causual fan co-workers ask me about when discussing soccer--right after the Messi/CR7 GOAT debate--is about that Trinity Rodman. That's right, Herc. Then again, that entire moment felt scripted, so I guess I should bagging on your writers and studio heads instead of you.
Yes, the actual soccer fans are paying attention to the women's team, which does better than the men's team and know the potential of the young players on that team have. Also, yes, women are following women's soccer at far higher numbers than men follow men's soccer. There's no football or baseball in the way. For marketing dollars and eyes, that matters.
The idea Pulisic could be considered as a 10 shows just how desperate Milan are at mounting an effective attack and finding some solution to control their midfield. They are outclassed against teams who have a number 10 because he can distribute the ball, relieve pressure and s begin attacks. Pioli tried this for 3 games and the experiment was so bad that they quietly moved Pulisic back to the right. Pulisic is not technical enough, isn’t able to distribute the ball well enough or even know how to move off the ball in that role to be even a little effective. If they try this, it will fail. No one outside of Milan watching Pulisic says he should be a number 10… no one.
Pulisic should be a 10. Milan did a terrible job at moving the ball centrally. Their idea all season was to spray it to the wings and hope leao or pulisic did something with it. It was predictable AF. One of pulisics best attributes is his ability to dip his shoulder and change direction. That is needed when you play central. To dip your shoulder and misdirection. Burn the first defender. Pulisic combining with leao and Chuck would be awesome. Pulisic has to be the 10. Because Chuck has 2 assists and 1 goal in two games this preseason. Pulisic hasn't had a chance to show out for their new coach since getting back from vacation.
@@Joe-i1x2g yeah… so they should take a player with no experience and no ability in that role to make up for everything they lack… such a great idea. How did no one remember Pioli tried this against Lecce and a few other bottom table teams and Pulisic was moved back! Does no one here understand this game or are you guys such Pulisic SIMPs that anything you want to believe about him is somehow true. Hai movement off the ball is statistically poor even as a winger and somehow you think he will know how to run off the ball to find space as a number 10!
Pulisic has played the 10 for usmnt and did great. You saying people don't know ball is funny because you don't even know the difference between a players talent, ability, and positional experience. Pulisic has the ability and individual skill to play the 10. He just doesn't have the game in and game out experience to be the best version in that position. With enough practice and game time, pulisic will be excellent at the 10 spot. Maybe you should actually learn the game cause I have been studying it for 20 years.
@@Joe-i1x2g yeah… playing as a 10 against Mexico and T&T are real tests for one’s ability in a position. It’s funny how severe of a SIMP each of you Pulisic apologists are. He looked utterly out of place against Barcelona and he scored (a flubbed cross) and an assist with zero pressure on him. He did nothing the rest of the game. Milan doesn’t have a midfield option so you will see them go through Pulisic, Okafor and Reijnders to DM figure out who the playmaker is. Pulisic will play the season on the right wing. That is a promise.
