Bond was set at 5 million. If I remember correctly, she would need to come up with 10% of that to get out until her trial date. 10% of 5 mil is $500,000. She does not have that kind of money. So, the bond is acceptable. They haven’t released the motive yet. So, just because you want it to be a hate crime, does not make it so. The same applies when black people cry racism when a crime is committed against them by a white person. It is not a hate crime until it is determined that the crime was racially motivated. If race does turn out to be a factor, then yeah, it will constitute a hate crime. It could be the lady was just a sociopath or just batshit insane.
