What a weekend! From Jupiter, to Pensacola, to Tampa all in a day I made it just in time to get out on the water with good friends to find some scallops (or skawl-ups). I also got to spear for the first time on the West Coast! I lost some skin, but it was worth the catch. We threw the scallops on the grill and they were cooked to perfection. To top it all off after much research and time, I am very grateful to say that I finally found my dream truck! I can't wait to share all of the adventures with you all.

When you mentioned Frontier I quickly thought of the Frontier here in Pensacola and then thought there must be a car dealership named that in South Florida. I just got my Tahoe from Frontier a couple of months ago! My family has been buying cars from them for years. They literally have the best service. I have been loving your videos! I've had a Tacoma and I now drive a 4runner. You will be able to put 300K miles on your Tacoma with only basic maintenance. A very good purchase. I loved my Tacoma and I love my 4runner. Good luck and keep fishin'

If you like scallops you will LOVE grilled octopus. I guess the scallops which are large served in restaurant come from deep water off the New England Coast.

Happy for you. Can’t beat the feeling of a new pickup especially being an outdoor enthusiast. We seem to have an entirely different level of appreciation for our rigs than normal folks. Truck lives matter!!!

Lol, that sounds like my pickup. I reached 258,000 miles and 1 transmission and still running! When I replace it soon i'm purchasing an electric car. No more polluting the planet.

Good choice going for the Tacoma. I’m sure if Paul had a Tacoma you would have gotten a truck from him. Gotta get what you want and the Tacoma is a great choice. Those Yota’s do not last long (as a used car salesman in Canada I know). Best of luck with the new vehicle. Love your channel!

A few tips on preventing rust on the new one. Go wash it WELL and get off all the sand and dirt. Then look at a product called woolwax or Fluid Film to spray on all the exposed areas where salt/sand will reach. Also look up a product called Salt-Away. You can mix it and spray it on the truck to help wash off all the salt water. You can use it on reels, boats, etc too.

I bought a car a Frontier Motors just last year. They were pretty awesome, walked me around the parking lot and picked 6 vehicles I was looking at. They pulled them all up for test drives so when i was done with one I'd just jump in the next one. Really easy not pushy, I hate car shopping.

Man... a Ford Ranger that had to have 3 transmissions with only 194k... Rangers must have gone down hill... last one we had odometer was well over 384k... my kids beat the crap out of it on the farm before it gave up the ghost. Had an Explorer with about the same on it. Each from the mid 90s. Enjoy the new truck!

Great video! Tacoma (aka Tahoma) is a name derived from the Puyallup Tribe in Washington state, which represented the name for the mountain, aka Mount Tahoma (or Tacoma). Now the mountain is called Mt. Rainier, so maybe call the new truck Rainier. 🙂

I used to do that. But, for your time and money you can buy them cheaper than the expense of getting them yourself. Fresh ones are slightly better. The limit was a 5 gallon bucket per person back in the day

I’ll remember the skawlups or scallops next time in Tampa area. My ranger got me through a lot of terrain, not sand so much. 4x4 is a better way to be stuck further away from the road. Great video
