His opinions on Rudiger have been right for the last 2 years. Rudiger is one of the best CB in the world currently. Better than Stones and Matip by a county mile. Late to the party, but I think the comparison of the three is not even fair. They have entirely different roles at their teams. By far Jackie boy is the best attacker, but Maddison’s ability to create with mediocre players is so underrated. Mount is my personal favorite but he’s absolutely a role player and not much more. He’s a cog in the machine and without him chelsea suffers greatly, but he’s not individually better than Maddison or Jackie boy

Hence why van Dijk to Liverpool was ridiculed, but Maguire to United was praised. That’s not the only example. Rudiger was hated by Chelsea fans until this season, yet there’s been absolutely zero change in his performances. He’s always been this good, but people didn’t rate him because Chelsea weren’t as good and he didn’t throw his body on the line, but performance wise he was rarely at fault. Now they’ve improved they can see his talent. Wan-Bissaka getting all that hype. Dias getting all that hype last season. Not all about goals. Anyone who watched the Prem at the time will remember how incredible Bale and Hazard were at their best. Just unbelievable. And the was never about tonnes of goals - that's usually the striker's job. It's only recently that wingers like Salah and Mane or Sterling have become their team's main goalscorers. People used to be able to appreciate incredible players like Bale and Hazard who just made everyone around them better and completely lit up the stadium.

I think you need to add more context. Benzema was never the main scoring option in Madrid because of Ronaldo. His job was to support Ronaldo and he did it his job unselfishly. As soon as Ronaldo left he started scoring 20-30 goals a season. Kane has always been the main man at spurs and England and everyone looks for him in the box. And you're really praising Kane for reaching the 2018 world cup semis and losing to the underdogs croatia? Benzema reached the quarters in 2014 and lost to Germany who became the champs. And if you actually followed France you would know that benzema was easily the best player for france the 2021 euros. He scored 2 goals in the RO16 and was subbed out with a 3-1 lead, and his team choked the lead and lost. So he was completely blameless. And he is the 3rd highest goal scorer in champions league history with 83 goals with just 1 penalty. The fact is this is benzemas best ever season and it's already looking to be better than Kane best season.

Swap them. Even if Scholes drop 8/10 every week in a Liverpool shirt, they wont be able to come close to the league against the likes of Mourinho's star-studded Chelsea team under Abramovich or the Man Utd team which was filled with WC players in almost every position managed by the greatest PL manager in SAF. Gerrard never had the luxury of playing in a world class team like Lamps and Scholes had.
