The US gave Ukraine and Europe a set of instructions for how to dig a hole for themselves. They followed the instructions, and now have a giant hole which they cannot climb out of. The longer Zelensky pretends that he is winning, or that he still has a remote chance of winning, the more territory would be lost. The best he can do is to seek a peace negotiation. It is obvious that Zelensky won't touch any form of negotiation with a barge pole because this would destroy his legacy. He wanted to be a clone of Winston Churchill, to be known as a war time president who save Ukraine. His chance for that is between fat chance and no chance. It is a bit like a incoming tide washing against a cliff. Eventually the cliff would crumble. When it crumbles, t would be catastrophic. I suspect that this is the beginning of the crumbling of the cliff for Ukraine,
