as a tampa guy that likes to see montreal do well when they can. am pleased for juraj and for those people that believed in him from the get-go. he really turned it around this past season. you could see it with his body language and confidence. juraj has the potential to be a solid power forward with a scoring touch, as he gains more experience in the NHL. GM hughes imo is doing an excellent job with locking down the core talents at reasonable labor costs. really liked the draft picks of demidov and hage as well. 👍🏼
You'd think Winnepeg would do whatever it takes to get Matheson off of the habs. The guy was an absolute stud last year. Great fit for that team and Montreal needs more top 6 talent.
If I was him I would try to get a bridge deal as he hasn’t been given enough ice time to prove he deserves the big extension he would want. So take 2-3 years to prove you are the star they think you are and cash in, basically he will probably bet on himself.
It was nice until he was paid to move on to Calgary. lol That team sucks, taxpayers must buy their new arena, & Playboy ain't paying 1 of its ladies to show any extras. That last thing could change, due to healthy competition.
Montreal fans remind me of that scene in the simpsons where Homer and Bart and chasing the pig they want to bbq and saying "it's still good....it's still good". 😂
Once he found his groove on the first line for the 2nd half of the season he was just under 1 point per game. Also the contract starts in 25-26, slav still has his last year of elc contract next season.
he's been good for 3 months out of 2 years and they gave him 7.6 lol zero goals in 8 games at the world championships a few weeks ago as well, horrible deal 😂
Reading your comments clears everything up. You’re an idiot ! Saying patty kane is wasting a year is ducking comical… first ballot hall of famer with three cups.. there’s no way you’re older than 16. nobody can be this dumb 😂
@@nadaduo1765 What would make it a better deal, in your opinion? It seems like a pretty good gamble, considering that next season he's still paid a rookie salary. If he becomes PPG next season, you would have to pay him close to 10 mil for the same contract length. Unless you believe it's more likely that a first overall, 20 years old player regresses than improve. Which would be a rather unique stance. But, it's the Internet ^^
