"There is a consensus internationally, that is has never been shown that the death penalty is more effective in preventing crime than any other penalty. Even the supporters of the death penalty, internationally, concede that that is so. What prevents crime is detection, prosecution and punishment. But whether that punishment is then life imprisonment or the death penalty has not been shown to make a difference at all. And once you accept that it has not been shown that the death penalty is more effective in deterring crime, then there is no justification in taking a life." This was so mind blowing 😫🙌🏾

Right to life when you took that right away from many others what about right to work and all the other rights that are daily infringed upon of law abiding citizens but the right to live is important for criminals and murderers? So forgive me if I don't bieve this is a ruling that anyone should be proud of it has put this country in an out of control spiral of violent murders and the most horrific atrocities known to man
