Sky News host Paul Murray discusses the possibility of an interest rate rise and how it may explain Labor’s recent drop in the poll.
“I truly think that it is the inflation fear,” Mr Murray said.
“If there is an interest rate rise, and obviously I hope not, I don’t want to pay any more than anyone else does, but if it does, that’s the one that the government is going to have to own, and they are going to have to own it hard.
“This meeting in August, the stakes couldn’t be higher, the politics behind it, massive.”

The biggest issue is the RBA simply haven't raised enough. They would have logically known this, but the emotion of trying to protect the housing market, has clouded their judgement.
