I am black and Kamala is not a black woman. She was raised in an Indian household with Tamil culture. She's 50% Indian and 25% Irish raised in an Indian home in Canada and somehow democrats want to pass her off as African American. As a black African I am insulted by this and I will not vote for her. There is no other group of people who are expected to support a political party as black people are expected to support the Democratic Party(Remember "you ain't black campaign"). If any other group, even those who frequently vote against their own interests, deviates, the conversation centers around how to convince them to vote correctly. However, when it comes to black people, the focus is on pressuring them to vote as the establishment desires, rather than the establishment making a compelling case to earn their votes. It's ironic that this logic isn't applied to policy-making, resulting in policies for "people of color" or the LGBTQ+ community. The responsibility is specific, but the benefits are universal.
