So-called “bad actors” linked to little fire ant investigations were outed recently in a state Senate hearing. For more Local News from Hawaii News Now: https:/www.hawaiinewsnow.com For more RU-vid Content: / @hawaiinews
Just because you have not found any infestations DOES NOT MEAN THAT THERE IS NOT AN INFESTATION. Why haven't the State Agri Dept. forced an inspection on all businesses connected to this fire ant problem at Punahou Carnaval, contact the State Attorney if the businesses are dodging the State and not being cooperative, or "unresponsive" as the State Dept. reps stated (they were being too kind to these businesses). The plants were donated, and hopefully the ants weren't noticed, not purposely given to the school to get rid of bad stock.
They are the ones that allow these to come in in the first place they need to pay for the eradication itself every dime back to the owners or to anyone who has these ants on their property the state of Hawaii is 100% liable.
Fire ant and red ants are a different breed/species. I have been bitten by red ants and fire ants. Fire ant bites sting (worse than bee/wasp sting) like crazy and dangerous if one is allergic to fire ants. DOA needs to get fire ants infestation under tight control!
