Federal carbon tax rebate increases and here in ucp Alberta the gas tax goes up NO REBATE ! Ucp promised a tax cut in the election and NO TAX CUT. In ucp Alberta we make pollution great again and again.

That's false. The PBO report states that 80% of Canadians get back more than what they put in. Only the top 20% get back less than what they put in. Or are you saying that the PBO is wrong?

Are you still paying the carbon tax ? What did Doug Ford campaign on ? I knew that he couldn't do a thing about it but his voter base thought otherwise. His voter base were also unaware that he would remove rent control on anything that became a rental unit after Nov 2018 , in the middle of a housing crisis . How does that help ?

All direct proceeds are returned within the province where they were collected, primarily through the quarterly Canada Carbon Rebate, directly to Canadians.

SA is one of canada's highest educated and experienced economists. stephen harper also holds a masters i economics who graduated with distinction. and lets not forget nobel prize winning mr nordhaus. the grand daddy of environmental economics. carbon tax as you know is an antiquated iidea two decades old which is ineffective at reducing carbon output or changing behavior. but i have the feeling nothing will sway a partisan midn.

You don't know how this works , we pay extra at the pump, because of that we pay extra at any store, we pay extra for cars , for parts, for everything we buy, or do, an average household losses about 900$ a year
