Aus saved almost 20-30 runs which we gave them as extras of 20-30 runs so total of 60 runs made total difference which would b arnd 300 runs. Also Ind didnt do home work as Aus did on us in our place. No hatred for India but hating this unlucky time happened at the right time, which always follows our team. This World Cup made definitely a huge hope on billions of ppl when they beat Aussi in the first game, but they proved us wrong. Mainly, we might miss boundaries (only 2) between 10-40 overs which is below par for any pitch conditions

Exactly true statement. We missed the fighting spirit in our team and if the similar situation is given to Akram - Younis & McGra - Warne duos , imagine how the bowling spell will be? From the toss we lost. It is not our day. Rohit should not go for that shot in that situation we were 80/1 in 9.3 overs, inspite we got a 6 & 4 in that over. In all the other 10 innings if my memory is right, Rohit got out first after giving a blasing start and other players capitalised that kind of start. In this match Gill got out early for a bad shot and we were 80 runs in the board, Rohit should stay there atleast for another 5 - 10 overs. Because this one is final. KL played a beautiful knock but should fetch runs in singles like Kohli did. There we lost the game. 8 runs RR in the start collapsed later in the middle overs. In our entire innings we had only 13 boundaries and 3 Sixes. The pitch might slowed down and the ball is not coming to bat. It's okay what about the singles and what about the energy while our fielding? Either we lost our hope in the toss itself, No firing aggression or not our day. Remember we scored only 183 in the 1983 WC, what was the situation in that time? We fought with aggression and Kapil took that outstanding catch to remove the most dangerous Viv. In this match Head's catch to remove Rohit was in the same intend. In the first ball itself Kohli missed the opportunity to take that catch offered by Warner. In the great matches those should be attempted instead standing still. Bad body language entirely while we are fielding.

Cent percent true , no experimentations done by captain in un important leagues like promoting SKY to bat at top order , asking aswin to bowl in power play .. how could u expect sky to come out with a big score suddenly without having batting rhythm ..you av to confuse ur opponent not to read your strategy, but here captain followed same strategy for all matches ,, they read your strengths and weaknesses and sketched out u 😅

India lost the match in the middle overs after the rohit wicket and suddenly unexpected shreyas wicket at the moment ind spot in to pressure and not even score a lot of boundaries in 11 to 40 overs and play a lot of dot balls in middle overs if rohit is play untill 20th over then we have a extra runs and it will be give some 280 plus . really this is the 280 wickets but they even not score 260 plus and there is a due factor is also a main reason to loose and even if rohit did not score a runs in first 10 overs then ind is all out in 190 or 200 plus so rohit innings very main but today shreyas and sky is not today up to the form and kohli wickets is main because at the time ind bull back and setting a partnership so kohli wicket is important . In bowling ind bowl really well in first 10 overs and not even try a slip while spinners bowl so this is very worst Aus is deserve to win because of their feilding and bowling . Yes ok good tournament for india and well play in league stage thanks for all the memories 🥺

Bumrah was bowling at his best after his poor first over. At the same time Travis Head looked dangerous . But, he was going to face the 11th over and Bumrah's previous over was a wicket taking gem. Why didn't the captain give him another over. Even after that , I think it was 15th over , Bumrah was asking the captain for an over, but he gave the ball to Siraj. Not recognising Bumrah as your absolute trump card, in the absence of Ashwin, was the main reason for this defeat.

Australia would have won this match even if they would have batted first ..they had clear bowling plans for each of our bastman and the batting plans for each of our bowlers....we didn't plan well and India went into this match with Overconfidence as they have won all the league matches...India underestimated Aus ...only batsmen who played comfortably was Rohit and Kohli... This is not one bad day. The match was one sided after first innings. This is an example for strategy at its peak. They knew only India will come to finals. Please note Aussies have not conceded a boundary continuously for 72 balls un the middle overs. Moreover Aussie fast bowlers bowled slow balls accurately. Even Stark reduced his pace in final overs. Aswin should have been brought in.

Reason for India Loss 1. Gill and Rohit threw away their wickets, like t20, when there was so many overs left. In ODI you need to bat long to score big hundreds, just 20 - 30 is not enough. 2. No attacking field placements or strategy, they were giving 5 - 6 runs in singles and twos when spinner were bowling, when asking rate was 4. They needed to bring fielders to stop singles so they play big risky shots. You can't defend 4 runs / over, it is just clueless strategy by captain / management. 3. If Siraj is not bowling with new ball, then should have played Ashwin. Else should have stuck to same Siraj with new ball, and Shami 1st change. 4. Why make dry spin pitch? Then toss becomes a factor. India should have made a good batting pitch, like semifinal vs NZ. Most frustrating thing is the cricketers and support staff who are paid crores, cannot thing of these basic strategies, and keep repeating the same mistakes again and again!

I have been living in Australia for last 18 years. My friend son had very good batting skill and he was top 5 in WA ranking but he was rejected because he was not fit. For Australians, fielding is important even at junior level cricket.

Rohit made the biggest mistake. First, he should have used Bumra and Siraj as opening bowlers, and then he should have brought Shami as usual. The fielding setup was bad. Virat did not catch warner first ball. Wicket keeper was sleeping the whole evening.

Mistakes / fortunate for India. 1. Toss 2. Indian Top order collapse 3. Australian Top class fielding 4. Australian Bowlers bowled perfectly with line length and speed for each and every Indian batsman. 5. Indian bowlers gave too many Extras. 6. Indian fielding is not upto the mark. 7.
