Advanced analytics has made its way to China. Look at the way guangdong, zhejiang golden bulls and Liaoning play on offense. Wu Qian is the future, sharp shooter and great play maker for his teammates.
He will be good option on offense, but he will be a huge defensive liability though, he cannot defend good international shooting guards(US/European) who tend to be way more athletic and stronger and taller then him. Also his offensive efficiency is pretty bad, if he can only shoot 41% from the field in a league that has horrible defense, I don't see him being efficient in higher level competition.
Curry shot a career >47% from the field with NBA level defense, Wu Qian shot sub 40% in CBA level defense, they're not even in the same universe in terms of offensive ability.
@@liubochao9319 Ray Allen is 6'5'' with a 6'8'' wingspan, so he can use his quickness and wingspan/athleticism to get his shoot off against elite NBA level defenders. Wu Qian is not build like him at all. I think against the average NBA/Black European shooting guard who's 6'4-6'6'' with a 6'5-6-11'' wingspan Wu Qian will get blocked or get his shot altered the majority of times.
dsong2006 Chill man, when people talk about „nation who“ kind of stuff of some players, it certainly doesn’t mean that they have abilities like the who or even close, people mean it in terms of STYLE OR JUST THE WAY THEY LOOK LIKE, so with no offense, appreciate your analytical comments, but it means really nothing. Will qian does play like Steph in CBA more than anyone else, that’s the fact. Topic closed.
dsong2006 and your comparison of his height with Allen‘s coming up with possibility of getting blocked in a hypothetical situation is...... way too far from the topic man.
