It’s winter time and that means the harvest time for the “ Big Black” Mexican avocado is ending. Today we Sample the fruit and i explain its flavor . #MexicanAvocadoTree, #Avocado, #avocadofrommexico #GrowAvocado
That multi graft tree has grown quite a bit from the beginning of your channel. I hope one day I’ll be able to come by and see your trees in person. Keep doin what your doin
Thanks, Yea, it would be twice the size had I not put grafts on, then take grafts off. Some grafts dont take etc I think the tree will double in size next year. One of these days I schedule a garden tour.
Being from Florida when I hear someone say a mexicola grande is watery I know there from Cali.😂 (Avo spoiled)😂. I can't wait to visit there and try some tree ripened avocados!
Great video Jeff, that is a great variety of avocado you are growing! Great taste test too, hopefully you will do a taste test of your mandarin orange one day, your tree is loaded! Thanks for sharing!
I love your tropical patio. It's like your in the tropics. I also loved the cat that photo bombed your video 😂. About avocados, I prefer the dense creamy ones. I love your videos. I just wish the were longer.
Jeff if some of your viewers wañt to buy big black Johnson avo trees you can refer them to me, I have a tree in ground doing well for a good scion sourse.
Hi Jeff, how do I get some graft wood from your tree? Please let me know, I am seriously interested, I can also provide in trade graft wood of cold hardy Mexican varieties growing in Switzerland... (no joke)
Hey Swiss , my family on my moms side comes from airiolo. I’ve seen temps to the south of there are quite mild. I’m just a home gardener, I don’t trade in plant material but I may know of a source . Contact me at Tropic2tropical@hotmail.Com
Is this variety "peelable" at all? If not, have you tried eating the skin (as is done with several Mexican varieties)? Does the skin have any negatives in terms of taste or texture?
