CANTO 2023, a multilingual multicultural international travelling poetry festival, was held across New Delhi and Kolkata from 15th to 19th March 2023.
This session featured Lina Ferreira Cabeza-Vanegas, renowned translator, scholar and faculty at U.Chicago, in conversation with Alison James, translator & faculty at U.Chicago, where they spoke about how poetry can give a voice to the People, the significance of translation in breathing new life into poetry, and Lina Ferreira's approach to refuting prejudice and power.
