Thug Life is a great album that was very underrated, i still listen to it now. I still listen to all Pac's music, he's the greatest. R.I.P Pac. Forever missed.
Pac was basically shouting out the whole industry and showing love on Representing’93. He was showing mad love to New York rappers on Old School. Pac if anything was a bridge trying to bring rappers from both coasts together before the setup in New York.
Maaaan so many people overlooked that record! Das EFX didn’t know Pac shout them out on that song til no later than maybe 2014. I don’t think Organized Konfusion found out til many many years later as well. It lets you know that Pac had love for these people, but I don’t think they showed it back the same way sadly 💯!
@@fakethuglifehe actually did..He saved Tim Doggs life in LA after he made that song “Fuck Compton” and that was in 92.Pac definitely was the bridge because he had NY and Cali ties
Tupac did not get shot 5 times. He got pistol whipped and accidentally discharge his firearm in his leg when trying to pull it. Bro ,I can't believe you are this stupid. Which man can get 5 shot point blank with one in the head and still live to check himself out of the hospital a day later. Bro use some common sense.
It's incredible, to miss the man even more now, 27 years after death than I did at 14 when he was killed... and to be even more amazed at what he accomplished.
Man fr! At being just 25 Pac really lived a full life everyone has a story to tell about him and new stories come out everyday! Legendary fr!! I wish he was still around
@@trunew54I DO ITS HIS BROTHER WTF WOULD HE LIE ... WOW @ ONLY NEWYORK TALK ABOUT BIGGIE AND ITS HIS RAPPING NOTHING ELSE HE AINT DID SHT ELSE TO TALK ABOUT AND I MEAN SHT ALMOST GOT KILLED IN OAKLAND 😂
"Pac didn't like the moves Biggie was making." Translation: "I'm going to speak in generalities in order to avoid the negative attention that comes with speaking the whole truth
No, Pac said that Puffy and Andre Harrell looked at him like they seen a ghost. He was asking Jimmy Henchman for his money, not Biggie. Biggie was on a different floor.
That's right. Biggie was there with junior mafia doing their project on one floor. Puffy was up there spying on Biggie, while hanging out on another floor with Andre Harrell who was there as he was the head of uptown records, the label that lil shawn was signed too. Andre was also the person that was going to pay pac (on behalf of jimmy) his £7k fee for featuring on the lil shawn joint. There was also talk of big possibly featuring on that track aswell. When pac went up the elevator he went to the floor he was supposed to record at with lil shawn, bryce Wilson, Andre, puffy, Jimmy and whoever else that was with him there on that floor. When lil caese went back up the elevator he went to the floor Biggie was at with junior mafia etc so they all didn't see pac when he came up the elevator. They only seen him later as he was being taken away to hospital in a stretcher.
Yea u right bro but that ish was still hard asf either way.....man get shot like that and come up there rolling up and asking for his money. That's crazy!!!
Under Pressure was and is still my joint on Thug Life and he says in his verse "When I die Im a be cursing the law" and everybody knows what his last words were to that cop when he passed
Chile, let’s stop the lies. Pac, was referencing Henchman when he ask about money, not BIG.😒 BIG, didn’t book Pac, nor was BIG person Pac argued with on phone before Quad incident. Also, having blank stare/shocked reaction to someone walking thru door bloody/battered is natural. It’s not something people witness everyday.
Bury Me A G and Straight Ballin are my favorites off that album. But I do like Pour Out A Little Liquor,Under Pressure,Crade To The Grave...basically all of them. I still have my original disc and case I bought from release date.
Rightttttttt they left the rest of that story out. That makes no sense TO ME. Also I don't think that is legendary being shot and rolling a blunt. SORRY From Your Boy Poorhouzzzzzzzz
Sooooo Art isn't going to ask... 1) Why would he ask Puffy where his money is at when, Pac is there to do a record for Lil Shawn?? 2) How could Pac see Biggie when he got off the elevator, when Biggie was downstairs in the lobby? 3) How is Art acting like he's never heard this story before 🧐 4) so pac starts rolling weed up with a finger shot off...did his finger grow back while he was in jail 🤣🤣🤣
And the legend grows. Biggie and Puffy weren't on the same floor, neither were they at the studio together. Tupac NEVER saw BIG, he went to the session he was supposed to go to with Lil Shawn, Puffy and Andre Harrell were in that session. BIG was at a Jr. Mafia session. If a nigga you know walks out of the elevator leaking you would look at him like saw a ghost too.
I don't think Mopreme knows why Biggie wasn't in thug life. He said things started to go sour than he got shot. Before pac got shot, him and Biggie were cool, otherwise why would Big ask cease to go pick him up downstairs.
He's raps about eight words on it on stay true with mopreme and Tupac and stretch.. he was screaming thuglife on stage Biggie smalls with jnr mafia in 93 and 94
Yo art be killing me!!! First he asked the loaded question, then when he gets the answer he wants. He says yea i see how Pac could feel that way. Let me ask this, how come Art always keeps trying to basically hold Big responsible for the entire quad studio shit. With all the what Big could have done narratives and how bad boy was running things that night and how Pac came to Big and Puff asking for his money. Now I've heard this story about Pac going in the elevator to where bad boy was, but know one who was there has ever confirmed it. So until then its questionable. But What continues to fail to do is ask the real question, but he wont because he is too stuck on the Biggie being apart of setting Pac up narrative. So I will do it for him. Art why don't you ask the real question as to why is Pac going up stairs to get money from Biggie and Puff when he was there to do a song with a real street dude who was also rapping at the time named Little Shawn!!!! For those who don't know, Shawn was rapper signed to Jimmy Henchman record label!!! Jimmy called Pac to come be a feature on Little Shawn record. This is why Pac came down to quad in the first place!!!!! Pac was coming to get down on a record with Little Shawn, who by the way didn't even like Pac. But went along with it because Jimmy thought is was a good business move. Little Shawn is also the one who put the gun in the piano when shit hit the fan. This is the same gun that Big went into the room to look for and get to look out for Pac so the cops wouldn't fined it. Now we know Pac and Jimmy got into it on the phone, but Pac was like long as you got my money I'm on the way. Now someone, answer this for me...... Wouldn't it make more sense for Pac to be going to the recording room where Jimmy Henchman has paid for Pac and his artist to record a track? Rather then by past their room to ask some niggas for money he wasn't even there to see or doing a song with them!!!??? Come on Art, make this shit make sense!!! Wouldn't the story make more sense for Pac to walk into where Little Shawn and his people were at all bleeding and shit, to ask for his money??? if that's who he was there to record a track with in the first fucking place?????? Nah Art not gonna ask that, because it makes too much sense and at the end of the day, its not about truth its about views. Damn we can tune into to vlad for the bullshit bro is this all you gonna be doing.
Everyone who ate off it is responsible. Including Pac. It just Pac used it to his advantage which is like a judo move. Use their momentum against them. But everyone who ate off it was responsible. You gona act like Biggie wasn't on jay z video they make a reference to california money then they say "who shot ya". Everyone including the record execs were eating off it.
I've never heard this side of the story. All along, the way I've understood it is that Jimmy henchman was associated with Haitian Jack, who was associated with puff and biggie was associated with bad boy/puff. So, the idea is that how did Jimmy Henchman know that tupac was coming to the studio, so he could rob him then and there? That's why supposedly Tupac turned on them, because he felt he was set up and all of them were in on it.
So now big and puffy was supposed to give pac money not Jimmy for little Shawn session. I swear just blame them forever thing that went wrong with pac at that time smh.
Lol bro you believe this?? If you or anyone you know got shot 5 times and didn’t go to the hospital but went to the studio…you would be considered the biggest idiot. I would slap the tf out my friend or son if they did that. He wasn’t really shot…remember no bullets went through him. No scars…
@@user-up5zg6ki8k I like Me Against The World (Pac's only classic) All Eyez On Me is great in it's own right. But thats it and Pac was fake asf. But admit that original post was frutti
@@meko264 True... But Nipsey Hussle - as dope as he was - was nowhere near as influential as a RAPPER as DMX but X will not be lauded in death in the same way as Nipsey. X died as a drug addict. Had he gone out in a shoot out with the police or his opps we'd put him in the same place as 2Pac and Big. We are just pre-conditioned for this.
You can feel through his eyes and the tone of his voice that he's still sad his brother passed away that way, we never recover from it, we just try to kill time and think about other stuff
Why would Pac feel they had something to do with it? He was on the phone arguing with Jimmy Henchman about his money that he was supposed to be a song with lil shawn for. Big and Puff wasnt at the studio together. Puff and Big was on different floors. Big was there working on the Junior Mafia album. Puff got word that big was writing for Junior Mafia and lil Kim and he owned 50% of big publishing. Big wasnt putting himself as the one writing the lyrics. He would put in different folks name around him this way he can fet paid without paying Puff. Pac went to the studio with guns cause he knew after the argument with Jimmy hemchman that he couldnt trust him. He knew Big had nothin to do with it. He wanted Big to tell him who did but Big had warned pac about Jimmy henchman amd Haitian Jack and pac went to them and told em that Big said what he said. That put Big on blast so he didnt tell him nothin again.
Thank you and big got robbed by them but they didn’t put that out you can look it up. Pac also told biggie that the beef is about making money everything was an act but ppl believed it
Biggie started to diss him after the shooting! Street niggas in jail were telling Pac Biggie and Puffy knew about the planned hit and didn’t tell Pac. Most importantly you know how Puffy moves! Evidence is there that Puffy behind Biggie murder! Puffy was an instigator in all of this!
All facts that have been discussed on this very channel. If he was shook of Jimmy then he should have just said that. Where are all the pictures of Jimmy and BIG together? Obviously BIG and Jimmy wasn't that tight. Pac was warned
@@q.heffner3612BIG wouldn't leave Bad Boy. Suge and Pac had to cripple the cash cow. If you notice, Suge never said anything bad about BIG. BIG funded the people who were responsible for Pac getting robbed, and Suge wasn't giving rap's top record sales back to the East. Casualty of war.
I highly doubt he asked Big and Puff for his money. Andre Harrell was the one who was supposed to pay him. Plus, I don’t believe Big was in the room. He was on a whole other floor…
Money for what I might ask….?🤔 To be fair to those cats in the studio it’s not particularly normal to see someone shot and bloodied like that. People have different reactions to seeing something like that. It’s not like ALL these individuals knew of some kind of attack was going to occur and the shooters all said MAKE SURE YOU’RE THERE WHEN THIS HAPPENS! Supposedly SWV was there too but there’s no money to be made in dissing SWV another group of individuals that didn’t actually shoot 2Pac. I don’t know what “warning” anybody could give Pac other than to say hey man watch your back out here somebody’s trying to hurt you. Pac would have come to an active volcano to get that bread for that verse that we know of. What I don’t dig is that Pac willingly walked into a dangerous situation ARMED and went on a rampage against everybody but the people who put him in the hospital. Mr Thug Life had his piece, admitted that he FROZE and didn’t pop. Bro what we talking about after that? I hate when this comes up because Stan Wars pops off and there’s a lot of sword swallowing and missile massaging going on. Nobody watching these clips know the absolute truth and you’ll believe whatever story fits your agenda. Leave this crap in 1994.👎🏾👎🏾
And some people have the nerve to say pac was an actor and phony just because he wasn’t always a “street dude” but this man had more heart that anyone u can put forward to me
He also shot/shot at and fought people. Just because your L’s is televised don’t mean you ain’t have no wins. That’s the thing about the streets, I could tell you I been shot but I can tell I shot or kill someone. Only the inner circle or word of mouth could tell you something you sidewalk dudes don’t understand @@vontaykeepitP
At the end of the day Puff and Suge put two men that were supposed to be their friends and partners into situations that led to their demise. Puff released Who Shot Ya knowing how it would be received, had BIG in LA months after Pac being murdered, just bad decision after bad decision. Suge fed into PAC’s paranoia knowing it would lead to his rival Puff being targeted, while letting Pac for all intents and purposes start gang banging which ended with him taking off on a certified killer who retaliated the way killers do. Terrible friends, terrible partners, terrible business men.
Pac wasn't no hater as long as he was runnin shit and telling u what to do... he didn't expect for biggie to blow up like he did you could hear the jealousy in Tupac's voice on the Sway interview when he told sway Biggie' out there living my life while I'm in jail I mean WTF?

If 2Pac was still alive Thug Life would still exist under One Nation. But we can only assume. It's amazing the impact 2Pac had in such a short amount of time. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🕊🕊🕊

Puffy and Biggie didn't owe Pac any money. You can go with the story he asked Jimmy for his money, if that's the story you want to tell. But it is outlandish for Tupac to think or even wonder if Puffy or Biggie had something to do with it and instead of saying anything to them, he goes to Vibe Magazine and uses it to promote his next album. For yall who don't know, in Party and Bullshit Biggie says "Aint no stopping Big Poppa, I'm a Bad Boy". The song came out before they met. Biggie was signed to Puffy before he met Tupac. Tupac liked to lie and another lie is he was gonna sign Biggie instead of Puffy. Puffy, Biggie and Stretch did nothing wrong to Tupac before Hit Em Up came out. Tupac was a combination of delusionally mentally ill and clout chasing or he never would have had a problem with any of those three.
First off Stretch was blaming Pac for the Shooting saying the Security Guard got shot because Tupac didn’t listen to what Robbers told him to do was go on their Knees and get robbed,he thought Biggy had something to do with it but later on realized it wasn’t him but the People that were associated with P Diddy and Pac had a Business relationship with them but Pac pissed off that Dude so he set 2Pac to get robbed for his Chain
P Diddy went on Source Magazine to Speak about the Shooting and 2Pac said P Diddy was telling lies thats the problem he had with P Diddy plus 2Pac thought Who Shot Ya was towards him even though we learned it was made before the Incident, they basically released the Song after 2Pac got Shot and then locked up which was very bad timing
Just like Stretch and Biggie, Puffy did absolutely nothing wrong to Tupac before hit em up came out. The things Puffy told the Source he believed were true when he said them and years later the things he said actually turn out to be true. Pac didn't like the truth. Pac called true statements lies. But that doesn't mean Puffy was wrong to say them. Puffy also wasn't coming from hostility or belittling Tupac. Pac got angry because Pac was mentally ill. But Puff did nothing wrong. Who shot ya had nothing to do with Pac. Puffy wasn't wrong to release a hit record that was completely unrelated to him. When they found out Pac had the deluded idea it was about him they said directly, no it was finished before Pac was shot. Pac didn't accept reality but that's nothing wrong Puff did. Again, Puffy, Stretch and Biggie did absolutely nothing wrong to Tupac before hit em up came out.
This a cap , Puffy was Andre Harrell , they didn't even know Big was there because he was sneaking writing on the Jr. Mafia project. He had sold his publishing and didn't want Puff to get access to that Jr. Mafia money which was on his and Un record label.
Thug life album was better than 2 pacalypse now and strictly for my niggaz , just about every song on thug life album is a classic! How long will they mourn me, straight ballin, under pressure, bury me a g, that’s all I can remember but they all was fire 🔥
@@michaela5811 that may be true but I personally didn’t like the production and beats to some of Tupac’s records on his 1st 2 albums but I felt thug life album is where me as a fan started to hear much better production and beats on Tupac’s songs
Check out souljas story on the 2pacalypse album, pac wrote it based on the Marin city court incident. George jackson Johnathan Jackson. When u hear Nas mention George jackson on the untitled album testify track, thats the dude he's talking about. George and John were brothers
He asked the wrong guys about his money. That question was for Jimmy Henchmen. That's one of the reason biggie and puffy was shocked outside of him just being shot and rolling up weed
Man we can have love for Pac and still give him the blame when he was at fault! He tried to get tough with Henchman on the phone and Jimmy had him shot. Then Pac was too scared to go at him so he blamed everything on his real friends Biggie and Stretch. That shit was wack and scary and started a whole mess of things that never should have happened. Biggie had nothing to do with that garbage smh
That part. The fact that Pac told his brother he asked two people who had nothing to do with why he was there about "his money". Its proof that Pac was too shook to bring that BS Jimmy's way. There would be two albums recorded before the real shooters were even mentioned.
Tbr , Pac did go at them.. they said he mentioned them by name in the vibe interview, but the interviewer changed the names . So he did go at them lol.. I think that shit was way deeper than just them 2 tho.. I think it was a legit reason why Pac was going at biggie and puffy. I think jimmy and then was extorting bad boy all that shit was tied together man…
Remember, PAC didn’t blame BIG for nothing til some niggas from Brooklyn approached PAC and told him Big and Puff was a part of the set up, while in prison. Plus Big and Puff actions showed they picked sides…So the war has begun now. Let’s exclude Pac out the equation…Any man that was in that same position would feel the same exact way. If you were in the streets…A lot of times when you get to a certain age you start hustling, and forming alliances with niggas from different parts of town. And you also allow certain niggas to make $$ in your section of town. So if something happens to someone that I formed an alliance with on my side of town..Guess who that guy’s crew coming to see? Me! And rightfully so. How my homeboy get shot or killed on your side of town, and you don’t know nothing. That’s the way the game go. Some how some way Big was supposed to link Pac to what happened, but he didn’t.
I hated Bad Boy and East Coast music, but theres no denying Big was a monster on a mic. His music isnt for me but that guy was a beast. Runnin from the Police was such a classic.
