I worked in the publishing industry, and let me tell you, NOTHING GOES TO PRINT WITHOUT THE AUTHOR'S APPROVAL. There are several back and forths of the "proof" as we call it, basically the manuscript, that go from the author to the publisher so they both can make the necessary changes. The manuscript only goes to print after the official sign off of both. Unless he's saying that the publisher put King Charles' name in without his knowledge and last minute, and by doing so he's opening himself up to lawsuits, Scoobie with the melting face just proved himself yet again a LIAR.

It’s natural to discuss how a new unborn child will look. My son is married to girl who is from Colombia- she is beautiful with jet dark hair & olive skin colour - whereas my son is English as white as white & we as a family with them discussed who the baby would look like. Would he/she have dark skin or dark hair or take after their daddy, pale & blue eyed? Totally natural curiosity with married couples coming from different countries & opposite characteristics. This printing mistake is no mistake but a ploy to get people to buy the book. I didn’t waste my money buying Spare & I won’t be on this book.

Being Dutch and teacher of English as a foreign language. I know for a fact that most Dutch pupils are or have been taught English as a foreign language. Just as their parents were. As far as talking about what the child may look like...I, red hair, freckles, white as snow, am married to an African-American. We have 5 children together, including twins. With each pregnancy the whole family (his and mine) wondered what the children would look like, ranging from skin color, to hair texture...and NEVER did I think any racism or bias was involved!!!
