The trans day (which is silly and most did not know about until this year) falls on the same date every year. Easter does not because it always falls on a Sunday. This year, they just coincided. Biden made a mistake by promoting it over Easter.

Actually, I've been following him since he left CNN for NewsNation and he has seemed more sincere since leaving CNN. I think it's very possible he is broadening his perspective after seeing first hand the left's intolerance - sometimes it takes a personal wake up call like that. It's important conservatives give him the benefit of the doubt and give credit where credit is due. If you ask the other side to see your perspective, don’t attack them when they do.

If I may, Easter is a pagan tradition. It was the Egyptians who worshipped the Eastern gods and prayed to them for fertility and dyed eggs in human blood. It somehow made its way into the Christian Church. It’s not biblical. Now, PASSOVER, that is the true Holy Day.

Also, if I may add, the resurrection of our Christ has to do with Him defeated sin and a rebirth, which is one of the main doctrines of Christianity. We die to self daily, pick up our cross and follow after Christ. Being born again is a death to self, as Christ died for us, and being reborn again in His image. But I do understand that not everyone agrees on these points and I respect others thoughts. Not trying to push my beliefs on anyone. Easter is exclusive to Jesus, but the holiday is "inclusive" in the sense that everyone is welcome to spiritually participate in the salvific death and resurrection of Christ. Point taken, though.

It's no more pagan than how we call the days of the week by names that were once associated with pagan gods (Wednesday is Wodensday/Odinsday, Thursday is Thorsday, Friday is Freyasday, etc). The name says more about the culture and linguistic history of the people who use the name more than it says anything about some pagan origin of the holiday itself. Christians have always celebrated the death and resurrection of Christ around the world. Literally the only remotely pagan thing about the holiday is the name Easter, and it's only really called that in the Germanic and English speaking parts of the world and isn't really called that for its potentially pagan religious connotations. Most Cbristians in the non-German/English speaking world call the holiday Pascha, a Latin/Greek transliteration of the Hebrew word for Passover because Jesus died over the last days of Passover week and resurrected at it's conclusion (it's a symbolic fulfilment of prophecy). "Easter eggs" and bunnies aren't inherently pagan either. Actually, do your research. This Easter celebration is connected to the goddess esters, fertility, you know eggs, rabbits, etc. why mix a memorial of Jesus’s death with pagan celebrations,?.... most people today do not even think about Jesus on this day.
