The Barca game was the greatest night of my life. Weirdly enough, my dog had to be put down several hours before the game, so I really didn't feel like going. My best mate forced me into it, and the atmosphere at Celtic Park was spine-tingling. My night was turned on its head, and that's the beauty of Celtic Park. It's there, and it's always there, to turn our bad times into the greatest times of our lives. HH
Its a badge of honour that we should all wear with pride, that players of that calibre said these things about our house 🍀💚 Lets now win these games and show all of Europe that this is a house that demands respect COYBIG
What a game and right behind the stand where Tony Watt scored the second. One of the only times I've been seated at that stand. I was next to a girl (friends gf) who had never been to a Celtic game before and shouted "go on the Celtic" for almost the full 90mins. I think she motivated them to the win. 😂
As with all Celts, I love King Henrik and I cherish every minute he wore the hoops...but, as good as his dink against the muck was, Nakamura's free kick is probably the greatest free kick of all time. Hell, Nakamura's running half volley against the scum was still better than the dink. Both of those goals are IMO the best Celtic goals ever.
While it’s great to get praised for the atmosphere the fans create. I would much rather we got praised for how hard it is to actually come and get even a draw from us! We have turned into European cannon fodder, and an easy nights work for most teams! No point clapping and cheering for 90 minutes while your team are getting slapped about on the pitch.
Exactly. Total birthday caird pish. Give me 3 points over Barca than Inestia saying he enjoyed his kick about at Parkhead. Small club mentality IMO. Parkhead should be scary not enjoyable like it was in the MON era.
@@gulbones5687 unfortunately we’ve a lot of fans who buy into this pish! Clapping players off and revelling in the fact some players have said the fans create a good atmosphere! We’ve been absolutely deplorable in Europe and that needs to change! Lots of fans getting ahead of themselves on what we will do in this new format! While I agree it’s a great draw with a chance to make that top 24, actually achieving it will be a different story. We’ve allowed an inferiority complex to grow at the club and we need to change it! The first game against arguably the weakest team in the competition will tell us all we need to know. Anything less than 3 points would be a disaster!
@@danielhenderson1744 Is it a great draw though? All of the teams in that draw are better than Bodø, Malmö, Midtjylland, Copenhagen, Cluj etc aren't they and Celtic couldn't even beat them.
@@sandersson2813 it’s a great draw compared to what we could have got. But It’s up to us to go and take some points and prove we can get wins in this competition!
@@danielhenderson1744 Given that Celtic have about 1 Champions League win in 10 years of trying isn't really confidence inspiring. This new format may well help Celtic, but it also helps those who Celtic underestimate. They will all be pleased they have a poor team like Celtic won't they?
We should aim to emulate the best atmospheres we've had against Slovan Bratislava and not just the giants so to speak and do it against whoever we play -12th man effect -let's get the 3 points every time!
Other than myself, it's the first time I've heard anyone say Lennon should have sacrificed himself for the team and pulled down kaka. One of the few European away games I've had the opportunity to attend and we where easily the better team on the park. Just didn't convert our chances.
@@robertmccafferty5549 Did you watch it? He mentioning his opinion on the most important goals, with a mix of quality & suggested Larsson Vs Rangers in the 6-2 game. Obvs I'm not saying Vs Boavista was a better goal that Nakas free kick, or a CL goal. Chill 😂
Maybe they were saying what was wanting to be heard. Cmon we are all biased. My worst ever experience at Celtic park was standing in the old Rangers end and watching Nottingham Forest outplay us. It wasn't packed.
Can we absolutely sure that the same people that gave these glowing reviews haven't said similar about other places - in other words are they genuine or being diplomatic? I guess genuine.
Absolutely sick of these videos. As a Celtic fan we need to be known for our acheivements, not some birthday card nonsense that visitors say when they turn up, just after they steamroller us. Wildly embarassing sorry Hamish.
If you put them on the spot and ask leading questions they aren't going to say it's shite. It's the same when you see the same band at several gigs, whatever venue it is, they always say it's their favourite. It's meaningless.
Hi Stephen , I was in the Celtic end that night and they part of the stadium was actually bouncing , you could feel it , just shows you we buy strong steel not like the Huns , THEY CANNAE GET ANY 😂😂😂😂🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 HAIL HAIL From Johannesburg .
I was at the man utd game . Nakamura's goal will always be remembered as one of the best free kicks scored by any Celtic, what with the pressure etc..HH🍀👏
Don’t see us doing anything in Europe, can’t keep selling our best players every couple of seasons then building again. The Celtic team that won the European cup we’re together for 10 seasons but Hail Hail 🍀🍀🍀
Folk are underestimating FC Brugges. They’ve been regulars in Europe for a while and will probably be a better team than us. Engels came through their academy and my mate who supports them only said he’s a decent player. I was hoping for a better comment when I asked about him. We always get caught up and carried away but have to remember our level in the past 20 years. Celtic Park is a Wendy house, not a fortress, sadly.
I am sceptical about the Messi quote. I feel that is was made up but has been repeated so often and picked up by outlets that it has almost become fact. I would love to know in what interview he supposedly said that.
This year we're going to upset Europe, I can Feel it in my Blood, also I'm a Die hard Tim from Ibrox 😂 so I have the Right to Speak my Mind . BRING IT ON. HAIL HAIL
Gonna have to disagree here. I would rather we had beat some of these teams in the last 10 years than them leaving with a win and then posting on twitter they had a jolly game of football at Celtic Park.
It's just a bit cringe now isn't it. Almost as cringe as gerry mcullouch constantly asking players to say how amazing the fans are. Truth is it is far from the stadium used to be. Its majority the GB singing new European ultra like songs now. There's the customary CL roar bit that's the only unique thing about parkhead now and there are far louder European grounds. Wish we would stop saying these things to new players. They must walk out and be like. Average 😅
