The first podcast I have watched in its entirety. Love Francis & his mindfulness, & the grace he shows everyone. I was a waiting for a question around his experience on dealing with his first death under his care at Tipene. I’d imagine the first one would be one you would always remember. Interesting talk about the age group that currently affects suicide the most in NZ. That breaks my heart! 😢 Really great episode this one 🥰
Woulda been great to have this Brother intro with a mihi bcos hes so passionate about His whakapapa on his Māori and Tongan side ehh. Francis, such a joy to watch on his show when it was on nettys, soo unfortunate we didn't have access after a few seasons when nettys failed us 🤦. Grace, humility & humour is top tier. The Man 👏🔥🔥
If it wasn't for Casketeers, I don't think I would of got through my beautiful Dad's tangi. He was the first person I had ever helped to dress. I remember Francis talking to the deceased while he dressed them as if they were just sleeping. I did the same with my Dad, I spoke to him & told him exactly what I was doing and spoke to him in our 'dry sense of humour' way lol.. It helped immensely getting through this. It went from being a highly anxious and traumatic time to one of pure love and gratefulness. Thank you Francis for helping me get through that moment.
So humble. I didn’t know he was Tongan Māori until reading the comments ❤ lol at his comment on isle of death vs isle of wedding. Bless you and your family, business and etc.
What a great man love the whole interview he is so professional and great speaker and Kia ora to You Francis and to your family and the Mahi that you and your Wife serve to the people in your Business ❤
I was afraid of death, but watching the program it has made me rethink about death,...I told my kids, when I die, send me to these guy's!...because, I see the love you have for the dead❤...as I saw in tucker another funeral director...Frances, did you know him?....God Bless yous all!❤❤❤
Tau kē kōrua., great interview with Francis , the questions were brilliant, his dry humour was hilarious his mannerism is beautiful such a humble person also his beautiful wife...much respect. Nga mihi
I hope we can get alot of Francis Inthe near future. He has alot of respect for whanau (Families) that he and the whole Tipene funeral homes have engaged in.
I love this whanau so much, such awesome solid people. My real questions are how do they balance work with seven kids/housework/after school activities etc 😅
Thats so true ! If we find it hard to get someone dressed or finding their casket heavy to carry ! We say the same thing too like oh they dont like it.
