Failed asylum seeker Anicet Mayela, whose deportation was blocked by the cabin crew on his scheduled exit plane in 2005, has pleaded guilty to raping a 15-year-old girl.
Oxford Crown Court heard that there was an extreme level of 'dangerousness' during the sex attack committed by the 40-year-old Congolese national.
It comes after Prime Minister Rishi Sunak insisted he wants to get flights to Rwanda off the ground this spring but MPs will not consider the legislation again until Monday.
The House of Lords snubbed ministerial calls to back down and again insisted on revisions to the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill.
