@@emmsue1053 There are many home-schooling families, they organise events and also group lessons. Why should children "socialize" with complete strangers just because they happen to be of the same age, this is how "peer pressure" happens. It's better to keep an eye on your children's friends anyway until they get older. Check out "Education otherwise" and other organisations. There are many teaching tools available and also some great tutors. Private schools have also gone woke and they are far too expensive for what they provide.

@@emmsue1053 that's the thing though, everybody says about the social aspect of school, but most kids fail even at that! I was both homeschooled and taught in public school and my social ability was made better by the homeschooling and the public school I ended up being bullied (more like tortured but we won't go there) everyday and then spent the next 20years avoiding the hell out of everyone that I could! School is basically unfit for purpose!

As a retired teacher I know that Communists have swelled the ranks of History teachers for years, they have been undermining British achievements for a long time.. The system is so toxic that I had to pay for my kids to go to private schools despite being a teacher in a state school.

Back in 1977, a friend of mine who had just done a further education teaching course and got a job at Barry college of further education, had a book on his table called "Pedagogy of the oppressed", I assumed it was a book on Marx, but actually I recently found out it is a book by Portuguese Marxist educator Paulo Freire, that was given to new, young teachers/professors in colleges to influence their teaching practices...It seems to have worked 😮
