Marcel Drimer, a volunteer at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, reads an essay he wrote about surviving an Aktion, or a massacre, in his town of Drohobycz, which was part of Soviet Ukraine in 1941. It was recorded in September 2022. Read Marcel’s bio.
The essay was written in a guided writing workshop for survivors of the Holocaust called Echoes of Memory.
