I love everyone else was losing it at 0:40 but Fred stayed entirely in character, completely nonplussed, "did somebody say meatloaf?" as if that's exactly what he expected and knew would happen, given the sudden incentive of meatloaf.
Loved Fred but I haven't lost my shit as much as I did when he suddenly spoke with Toad's voice in the reunion. It came out of nowhere. Besides character probably my favorite moment was the party horn thing
@@minecraft8783 the first who did the character was shame, in a dart game actually. he called him Spencer Agnew (spencers real name) back then, though. Spencer was playing a swimmer character in that video. they renamed the character to the chosen after that.
It's like when Po envisioned the Dragon Scroll as a cookie in the 1st Kung Fu Panda. The idea of a cookie gave him power the same way meatloaf gave Fred power
Shoutout to the unsung improv hero of this in Amanda for the legendary lob that set up this moment. I've rewatched so many times and it just keeps getting better every time
i feel like his character was missed by the younger generation, but this feels like such an adam sandler spoof character to me. def gotta be some inspo. the backwards hat, the chain, the oversized tshirt and dorky lines. just chefs kiss. spencers comedic abilities are honestly really underappreciated. Im glad he keeps getting more and more screen time.
I'm a little too young(born in 2000) to know who Fred Durst is, what he looks like, and what he's famous for, but I reached into the deepest reaches of my memories and pulled out the tiny, most ethereal wisp of a memory when Spencer came out in that costume and I was like "Is that a Fred Durst parody," that's how well he played that character.
There are times I worry that as I grow older Smosh just wont be my style of humour any more. Then theres an hour Fred Durst bit and I am put at ease. Thanks Spencer.
Shayne needed to put himself in the corner to cooperate and get back into character. That was such a chaotic choice Spencer made, and oh my god did it pay off
Absolutely legendary, I think that during that whole thing he over thinks his shots and misses most of the time, but the one time he doesn’t have time to think, he makes it probably because his reflexes took over
i watched this video as like. my morning tv today and absolutely LOST it at this moment. as soon as i saw him i knew EXACTLY who he was playing as lmfao
