Last days here and we are going to see a lot worse before it is all said and done. My cousin was removed from a flight a couple of years ago and she was arrested, strip searched and had to fly back and forth from NYC to NC for court hearings, etc. These ppl are lucky that it didn't go any further than getting kicked off a plane.

Honestly the airline employees' behavior is the least of my concerns with United. They're flying almost entirely Boeing 737 Max 9s right now. They've had engines Catch Fire missed flight, pets killed while transporting them, and they now also charge for your carry-on and your checked bag like one of the budget airlines. Why anyone would chance it with them is beyond me!

When Fox Business asked United about the incident, United’s was response was that they could neither confirm nor deny that there was an incident involving misgendering and hate speech even though the woman has video of a United employee saying she was accused of that. That response alone said volumes to me. If it hadn’t happened, they would have said so. That suggests to me it did happen, and they are trying to fend off a PR nightmare.

I've been on several planes where if the parent was having trouble with their child I just offered to help. I held a baby for 2 hours so the mom could attend to the toddler. She was so relieved to have someone help her vs crucify her. Always so grace to others!!!

I worked with a few transgenders. I just called them by names and structured my sentences to avoid using pronouns. Back in the 90, I called a butch lesbian a sir, but then I realized it was a female. This was before the trans craze in the States. Also I've worked with this girl from Uganda and in their language, there are no genders like he or she, so she would misgender everyone all the time.

after the asian doctor being dragged out of the plane, my family being rearranged our selected seats where my toddler's seat and other kids seats are separated from me and my wife, we stopped flying with United since then. I am not even surprised about forcing people to on how we speak on the plane. We never ever fly United again.

Video ALL interactions with ANYONE in public. Tom actually had the correct take on this issue. A flight attendant with too much authority enforcing hypersensitivity. If this female passenger had a video of this incident, she could have probably dominated this situation.

I work in Dania Beach FL, less than a 10 minute drive from Fort Lauderdale airport. I drove over an hour to PBI to avoid having to take a United flight.

A United representative stated that there was more than just misgendering. I don't think we have enough to actually form an opinion on this subject. But if we were to only consider what is shown in this video then yes, United Airlines is absolutely in the wrong, but again, there MIGHT be more to the story.

I am sure there is more to this story. Many moms come on and act like they are the only customers on board. On my flights I go out of my way to help out stressed parents. Before a person is kicked off the plane the Captain and CRO Conflict Resolution Officer must agree. Misgendering is not enough to kick someone off A/C.
