Absolutely agree 100%, Our UK government definitely lacks not only the will power but the courage too in my opinion on anything we do… I feel as a country, we have become the softest country in the modern world.

It's an exaggerated problem and one that could easily be reduced by providing safe and legal routes into the country and having efficient processing mechanisms in place. Unfortunately, such measures won't help propel the demonising narrative though.

I'm Honestly getting so sick of these comments it's fucking unreal. So let me educate you. Currently there is 3.9 Million Muslims in the uk according to the (ofns) this does not have a breakdown of ethnic origin but its safe to say around 10% of those are white. The muslim birthrate is around 3.4 per Muslim woman and 2.6 per native white. So lets say on the high end including Muslim immigration there is a population shift of 3.4% is 132,600. We are going to be consersvative and not include deaths. The general trend being that the longer a population is in the Uk the lower the birthrate gets, so there is no figure to compound this, addtionally i couldnt find a definitive figure so specificlly state the ratio of men to woman out of that 3.9million so we are just going to go withe the 3.9 million as a whole. These numbers dont even include migration outside of the Uk. So the statement that the uk would be a muslim state is impossible within 10 or even a 100 years without a major population chnage of 10% which is not going to happen. So stop spreaing lies.

The ECHR literally says no European or UK court can strike down an act of parliament. Stop believing what morons say about the ECHR. The problem is UK legislation. We have a law that says legislation must be in line with the ECHR. A judge only recently made that point. But we can actually get around it with clearly worded legislation that makes a law not need to be line. What we have is a bunch of overly educated morons on politics.

Ben is exactly right in the first set of things he said. Do not leave the Convention, but do not recognize the Court any longer. Its judgements should be treated as advisory only. As to real rights guaranteed by the Convention, like the right to a fair trial, has anyone considered that the next Labour government will probably not have much concern for those rights?
You can't chose when you want protection and when you don't. Without the ECHR any government could take away your right to vote completely, who would you complain to?

What happens if all individual countries start giving themselves their own human rights? In this case Habib manipulates the viewers (we only leave the court) as the court, the UK a foundation country, controls the acceptance of Human Rights. Does Habib consider what the U.S. and Australia, their great partners think about it? The biggest problem is getting people out to vote. I understand the feeling that it doesn't matter how you vote you get the same BUT Reform is worth a chance on. If we don't vote or spoil our ballot then Labour will be in and nothing changes. Let's make a protest by coming out and voting Reform. At worse Labour will get In which is inevitable at this point. I would suggest that Mr Habib reads Strand 1 paragraphs 4 and 5 of the Good Friday Agreement. Ths Good Friday Agreement is an International Treaty of which the British and Irish governments are co guarantors .Any changes to the Good Friday Agreement will require the agreement of the parties in Northern Ireland znd the Irish Government.

We were a member of the European convention on human rights for fifteen years before the Labour party signed us up to the European court of human rights, without a referendum or even a manifesto pledge. There is nothing the court can provide that parliament can't. As for Northern Ireland, they are welcome to stay signed up if they like. Perhaps we should make it a devolved power.
We didn't get a vote on joining the ECHR. Tony Blair took upon himself to join the ECHR. He then resigned as Primeminister and went to Stratsberg to be the President of the ECHR. Tell me if l am wrong. But wasn't that a Conflict of interest?
