Romania was a kingdom in the period 1866-1947 here in this photo is about the first King of Romania , Carol I , he reigned from 1867 until 1914 , when he died... in his time, Romania became independent from Ottoman Empire , after the Independence War 1877-1878 , Romania allied with Tsarist Russia and Bulgaria (alliance) fought against Ottoman Empire , after they won the war , Romania and Bulgaria became independent nations, it was for the first time when Romania was recognized with this name of the country after Treaty of Berlin (1878)...this military march song was composed in 1856 by Stefan Nosievici and sang by romanian soldiers in this war from 1877 and 1878, and for romanians this military march has historical meaning , reminds us by this war when Romania became independent it's short , but powerful and intense ,making the soldier to fight for his country !

@@ppn194 recunoscut international ,da ,dar eram deja ca un regat de cand a venit Carol I , in 1866 , a trebuit un razboi de independenta ca sa ne recunoasca statutul de regat al Romaniei
@LuizFelipe - What do you know about the Russian names ? Serghei Volkov is a pure Russian name. Moreover, he wrote his name in cyrillic letter used in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria and Serbia, also some Asian countries occupied and included in USSR.
Love this song and Romania too. I've been in Romania lately and it's REALLY beautiful. Most beautiful country I've been to. I have to go back in the future because I can't get enough of it. Forget our past, and be friends! Love Romania from Hungary!
@@comrade_cat303 That's Moldova's flag even tough Moldova used to be part of Romania and hopefully will be again part of it one day. Btw Romania flag is this 🇷🇴
All neighbors had wars in Europe. We have to leave it to the past and continue the way we did the last 77 years with some disagreements but with the common goal-peace. Let all the fights stay on RU-vid;). We have more in common now than ever.
You touched my heart! God bless you and God bless Germany! By the way- our prince Carol I ( then king )who fought in this war was a close relative of German Emperor. Carol I was a member of Hohenzollern -Sigmaringen dynasty, the son of Karl Anton, the previous prime minister of Prussia, before Bismarck. In 1877-1878 Carol I was greatly helped by Germany.
Just FYI, there's a typo in the first line of the first verse, it should be "toba bate" ( *the* drum is beating), instead of "tobă bate" (drum beats). As it is written, for native eyes it looks like there is a guy called "tobă" (drum) and he is beating something (or somebody), which makes a serious song sound quite funny (you can google the definite article in Romanian).
@Franky42 Yes, tobă is a noun.. listen to the song, it says tobA not tobă. the fact that there's no diacritic on the a means that it's THE Drum. I'm Romanian; I know this song like the back of my hand, and those are the correct lyrics
On the horse is our great king Carol I .From Romania thanks here to all they are not romanian but love our song. This was the song of a people who fought for independence and gained it after centuries.A lesson of courage and hope for everyone!
love from hungary 🇭🇺 ❤️ 🇷🇴 (please don't start a discussion about transylvania, it's yours, you got it, now please don't start a war in the comments section again)
@@alexandrudamir4221 They should give Moldova back to Moldova first :). And they will! We Ukrainians will take care of it along with Moldova and Romania - noone needs a russian fake state in their back.
Lyrics (english) Good way, good way, the drum beats Have a good trip, brave Romanians With the bag tied behind With weapons in hands. May it be a sunny day Or the cloudy sky Be it rain or snow We go joyfully. Good way, good way, the drum beats Have a good trip, brave Romanians With the bag tied behind With weapons in hands. Either at the parade Either at war All in a row We go happily. Good way, good way, the drum beats Have a good trip, brave Romanians With the bag tied behind With weapons in hands. Let the flag shine We live for it Let the country flourish We die for it
