Nice work Chad. Certainly a good approach to making a set of heads work. I had watched this video before. Not sure if I commented. Showed up in my feed, so I watched it again. Have a great day. 👍
Damn man. For the money I would bet it's one of the best going. I would bet you could see decent power gains, dep on induction and fuel systems. Quite cool man.
What do you recommend to take my 383 to the next level? 18 or 15 deg heads? which do you prefer? dont keep up on whats out there cant afford a bigger block Wanna do this! Bought a 300-110 on your posts yrs ago. Hope it outperforms by end to end ported 7530 Team G
Sadly soon all combustion cars, bikes including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime (BABVVOBundesabgasbespassungsverbotsverordnung)!!!!!!
@@SpeierRacingHeads Hope not....Edison is raising elec rates like frigging crazy in anticipation of all the EVs...gas is stupid high....In Commiefornia. Not even in a good area low income chitsville. Premium 91 piss is about 6 a gal now.
If you are saying take a radius [pure or variable] and only cut/stone at 45 to accommodate seating of valve, there is the issue of getting that seat on the valve where you want it, and that varies street to strip. It maybe could be done, but might be more trouble than its worth? Indexing cutters could be a p.i.t.a. I doubt you could get at much of a performance difference vs a 5 angle.
I've thinking about trying a set of those heads on my next engine. 4" bore 3.75" stroke. Smallblock chevy. I just want a good torquey engine for my daily driver 84 chevy 4x4.
