@@alexandruciubuc-7464 Are you referring to the last temptation of Chris? I agree! Although some of the scenes were exaggerated, it contradicted scripture on the life of Christ.
@@BlowtheTrump9683 Yeah. It made Jesus into almost the exact opposite of who He truly is. It was artistic, good actors but it was super blasphemous. I bet Jesus vomited at that movie.
Robert Powell, the man who portrayed Jesus in a way that no one has ever done before or after, in a scene with one of the greatest actors of all time, Sir Laurence Olivier. Directed by Zeffirelli.
With you Holy Heavenly Father Lord Almighty and Redeemer CHRIST JESUS OF NAZARETH Father Lord Please? Help me to remember every detail of your Holy Word and to remember: day and night on earth and by Heart ❤️ as much as you will have me. LOVE YOU. AMEN AND AMEN.
1 Peter 1:22-23 "Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." Let those have ears hear, and those who forbear, let them forbear.
2:21/2:35 (The look on Nicodemus face is classic moment). It was as if at this precious time that Nicodemus understood the mystery of the ages and was no longer perplexed over the ministry of Jesus. It's possible that when Jesus said... that the world may be saved through him, that Nicodemus' mind reflected on how Old Testament Levitical priesthood animal sacrifices were offered for forgiveness of the people and how now God's upgraded plan was for Jesus to become our Supreme Passover Sacrifice for salvation. Robert Powell's performance as Jesus of Nazareth was fascinating and just incredible. He captured the essence of Jesus' character in this movie more so than any other actor who played the role of Jesus in other movies on Christ. And I salute the other actors in this film; they did a fantastic job as well at playing other biblical characters. The movie Jesus of Nazareth is a masterpiece.

I know this is a very lovely reenactment of Nicodemus visiting with Jesus. But according to the bible, Nicodemus visited Jesus at night time. And it was actually at the very beginning of Jesus's earthly ministry. In this version, it seems like it's taking place 2 days before Jesus got arrested
Amen. And this means being born again, described in 1 Peter 1:22-23 "Seeing ye have purified your souls in _obeying the truth through the Spirit_ unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: _23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God,_ which liveth and abideth for ever."
The part of God that was sent had to feel the pain and God felt the pain of his people and showed he was there, and understanding so those who followed Jesus would be saved and have everlasting life, those who did not would reap what they had sown. I think Jesus believed in Reincarnation.

Deliberately removed the reference to water baptism in John 3:5, Protestant heretics made this film. Pope Paul III, The Council of Trent, canons on the Sacrament of Baptism, Session 7, canon 2, ex cathedra: “If anyone shall say that real and natural water is not necessary for baptism, and on that account those words of Our Lord Jesus Christ: ‘Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit’ [John 3:5], are distorted into some sort of metaphor: let him be anathema.”
