Thanks Kevin, that shovel is found works great, wasn’t too bad and had a great day, appreciate you watching and commenting, have a great week, God Bless & GL&HH!!!
. I am fascinated by contact with nature my friend. It is tiring to look for the tips no matter what method you use; SIFTING, WALKING AND WALKING, DIGGING, SHOULDERING (just like you must be very tired), SEARCHING IN THE DESERT, ETC. You managed to rescue good things my friend. BLESSINGS ALWAYS ON YOUR WAY.
Thanks Coyote, I mostly jump walk and explore for arrowheads but when I get in a really good spot I try to spend some time sifting it, always a joy to be put in nature, appreciate you watching and commenting, God Bless & GL&HH!!
I wonder if that was a geode, it’s unfortunate I forgot it but I’ll look for it again when I go back, I did keep that chopper looking piece btw, it’s now in my collection, I appreciate you tagging along and commenting Natasha, Have A great week , God Bless!!!
Bro, we both started singing "georgia" at the same time 😂😂. And that shovel looks like it works great! You just never know what you're going to find in the trash! 🔥. Great finds man! I hope to find a quartz something eventually! 🤙. Best of luck out there 💪. That bass is a biggin! 👌
Lmao, that’s funny, I always start singing on that gravel bar for some reason, yeah that thing does work great, found a rake too, I’m gonna take it down here by the house where I found that flint point and rake all leaves back and try to expose something, I hope you do too, I didn’t know until I started a RU-vid channel that so many people in other states don’t find Quartz artifacts, there’s plenty of it here, not so much chert/flint though, most creeks there’s not a single flake but up in Rome where my other nephew caught that big bass it’s everywhere, most of what is here was transported from there from my understanding, appreciate you Bud, have a good one Patrick, God Bless & GL&HH!!!
Yes sir Brian, it sure is, I thought that was steatite(soapstone( at first then I noticed it look glazed on one side, I found a really big piece of a steatite bowl a few years ago on a little island in middle of the river, if you go back in look in my uploads it says a year ago though and there’s a picture of the sunset on the river in the thumbnail and the title says partial steatite(soapstone bowl) in the title if you want to check it out? I waded across the river to that island last year and found a really cool pottery sherd with animal images on it, I really appreciate you tagging along and commenting, God Bless & GL&HH!!!
Cool finds man. That’s definitely a good way to stay cool in this unbearable heat. Those were some nice bass in there too. I checked a spot today and found a base of a huge Godar point. It would have been a smoker. Thanks for taking us along. Best of luck.
Thanks Brother, I just happened to get hung up casting and broke my line right as I was rounding the bend to that spot and just didn’t bother to rig back up, they were swimming right up to me when I was sifting, even had a little bass swim right up in my hand lol, have that hole turns out to be a sweet one, appreciate you tagging along and commenting, God Bless & GL&HH!!
Both those godars would have been sweet, that one piece look like it may have been a corner of a butterfly banner or something, I sure it would have been sweet whatever it was? Love that material y’all find as well, and that last point was sweet, great finds brother, GL&HH!!👊🏹
@@thegeorgiacreekwalker491 thanks man. It was good to get out again it just sucks it’s so damn hot. It’s in the process of storming right now so hopefully something is washing out.
Yall have so much quartz down there man. I had the points you sent me out the other day looking them over again. One day I will come down and we'll do some huntin 😎🏹
Thanks Brother, you’re welcome anytime, I go by myself 90 percent of the time except for occasionally when my nephews tag along, that would be cool, thanks for tagging along and commenting, God Bless & GL&HH!!!
Man you sure have the market cornered with the quartz goodies!! Those crawdads and all those bass were making me hungry! Lol. I might of built a fire, had some lunch. Nice shovel, I have one just like it but I use it for SNOW 😝 Great vid as always my friend 👍 Happ huntin✌
Thanks George, yeah we have a lot of Quartz in my area but not much chert/flint, much harder to work a G10 smoker from Quartz so I’m lucky if I find a pooter lol but when you do find a smoker made from Quartz it’s precious and i gave away so many, I figured that was a snow shovel but it works great, I’ve never eaten crawfish, my nephew was just telling me he just had a crawfish boil with his girlfriends family, they’re all Cajun and eat a lot of them, I’d like to try them one day, I really appreciate you tagging along and commenting, GL&HH!!!👊🏹
Thanks brother, yeah that bass my nephew caught was the only fish of the day, we hit a couple of subdivision ponds, an old lady walked up and said that’s a really big catfish lol, those bass in the creek were swimming right up to me while I was sifting, a little one swam right up in my hand, I really enjoyed your last video, a variety of cool finds, I like that glow in the glow in the dark mason jar lid, I told you I found a broke one made from uranium recently but now I want to keep all of them and see if they’ll light up, been wanting to a get a black light for years, appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment buddy, have a good one Chad, God Bless & GL&HH!!👊🏹
@@thegeorgiacreekwalker491 Yeah, I started keeping them again too 🤣👍!! Hey man, I always enjoy a Georgia Creekwalker show 👊 Bless ya Bucky, and Thanks ✌🍀⛏
@@historylooker7thanks brother, I think I told you before that Auquchigger told me you can use those zinc lids to do electrolysis on your iron relics, thought I’d bring that up again considering you found an axe head, he also has a great video on how to preserve axe heads and you should definitely check out his axe head collection, it is amazing, I really want to get back into back into magnet fishing at all the old ford/river crossings I know about, I spent hundreds of hours magnet fishing by myself and l found piles of piles of old iron relics, axe heads, old clothes irons, I must have left a dozen on the bank I found so many, pistols, a bayonet etc., maybe I can get me another magnet soon but I found all that stuff with an old speaker magnet, anyway hope you’re having a good week so far, peace brother!
@@thegeorgiacreekwalker491 Killer, man 👊!!!! Magnet fishing is definitely a very interesting topic...Wish I had more time to do it....I could never leave an iron ,if it was an old one....🤣⛏⛏⛏
Wow looks like some awesome finds ! I am curious about that huge green stone on the gravel bar, possibly septarian jade? You do have a good amount of quartz and jaspers for sure and hematite which makes for great points! Looks like a lot of work there so be careful out there and drink a lot of water! :) Have fun in your beautiful area there!
Thanks Debra, yeah I’m not sure what that was, unfortunately I forgot it but I’ll try to find it again when I go back, thanks for watching and commenting, have a great week, God Bless!!!
Didn’t even think about that, that’s the same gravel bar where I found the hematite point a few months ago, appreciate you watching and commenting, God Bless & GL&HH!!
Awesome Finds Bucky! LOVE the GA quartz as always! Those were some nice looking Bass! Interesting perfectly round stones, I don't think they are geodes though but you never know!
Thanks Jeremiah, those bass were swimming right up to me while I was sifting, a little one even swam up in my hand, I didn’t feel like rigging my pole back up at that point I was so tired, yeah I wouldn’t know what a geode looks like, I’ve never found one, I do have a strange looking rock I found a few months ago I might bust open though, Hope you’re doing well Bud, appreciate you watching and commenting, GL&HH!!!👊🏹
@@artifactsofarkansas5549 Thanks brother, haven’t heard from you in a long time brother, hope you doing well, I’m on the river bank right now sweating my ass off looking for relics, just took a break and seen your comment, appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment, Happy 4th brother, God Bless & GL&HH!!!🙏🏻🇺🇸🏹
@@thegeorgiacreekwalker491 It has been a minute! I got a new job doing HVAC and I have a little baby girl now so I’ve been super busy. I still try to get on here in the little free time I do have though. God bless and happy 4th of July brother!
Yes it does, I’m lucky to find anything at all in the creeks around here though, luckily I have one or two creeks that are holding artifacts, the majority of my artifacts came from the river banks when the water levels on the lake drop in the winter, it’s hard in the summer time to find native artifacts, but summer is when the fish are biting so it evens out, appreciate you watching and commenting, God Bless & GL&HH!!!👊🏹
@@thegeorgiacreekwalker491 it’s the same here only I’m hard pressed to to find any creeks close enough to travel to, most have no artifacts in them unless you wanna drive way out🤷🏻♂️👍👍👍
No I haven’t, I’ve seen them on the Georgia outdoors channel so I know they been found in North Georgia but I’ve never come across one myself, not a really blue one anyway, some of those big ones have a slightly blue tint to them though, I would love to come across one someday, you ever found one? Appreciate you watching and commenting, God Bless & GL&HH!!!
