It is tiring to look for the tips no matter what method you use; SIFTING, WALKING AND WALKING, DIGGING, SHOULDERING (just like you must be very tired), SEARCHING IN THE DESERT, ETC. You managed to rescue good things my friend. BLESSINGS ALWAYS ON YOUR WAY.

Bro, we both started singing "georgia" at the same time 😂😂. And that shovel looks like it works great! You just never know what you're going to find in the trash! 🔥. Great finds man! I hope to find a quartz something eventually! 🤙. Best of luck out there 💪. That bass is a biggin! 👌
@thegeorgiacreekwalker491
@thegeorgiacreekwalker491 Месяц назад
Lmao, that’s funny, I always start singing on that gravel bar for some reason, yeah that thing does work great, found a rake too, I’m gonna take it down here by the house where I found that flint point and rake all leaves back and try to expose something, I hope you do too, I didn’t know until I started a RU-vid channel that so many people in other states don’t find Quartz artifacts, there’s plenty of it here, not so much chert/flint though, most creeks there’s not a single flake but up in Rome where my other nephew caught that big bass it’s everywhere, most of what is here was transported from there from my understanding, appreciate you Bud, have a good one Patrick, God Bless & GL&HH!!!

Any day out doors is a good day the artifacts are a bonus looks like a piece of soap stone bowl
@thegeorgiacreekwalker491
@thegeorgiacreekwalker491 Месяц назад
Yes sir Brian, it sure is, I thought that was steatite(soapstone( at first then I noticed it look glazed on one side, I found a really big piece of a steatite bowl a few years ago on a little island in middle of the river, if you go back in look in my uploads it says a year ago though and there’s a picture of the sunset on the river in the thumbnail and the title says partial steatite(soapstone bowl) in the title if you want to check it out? I waded across the river to that island last year and found a really cool pottery sherd with animal images on it, I really appreciate you tagging along and commenting, God Bless & GL&HH!!!

Cool finds man. That’s definitely a good way to stay cool in this unbearable heat. Those were some nice bass in there too. I checked a spot today and found a base of a huge Godar point. It would have been a smoker. Thanks for taking us along. Best of luck.

Thanks George, yeah we have a lot of Quartz in my area but not much chert/flint, much harder to work a G10 smoker from Quartz so I’m lucky if I find a pooter lol but when you do find a smoker made from Quartz it’s precious and i gave away so many, I figured that was a snow shovel but it works great, I’ve never eaten crawfish, my nephew was just telling me he just had a crawfish boil with his girlfriends family, they’re all Cajun and eat a lot of them, I’d like to try them one day, I really appreciate you tagging along and commenting, GL&HH!!!👊🏹

@@historylooker7thanks brother, I think I told you before that Auquchigger told me you can use those zinc lids to do electrolysis on your iron relics, thought I’d bring that up again considering you found an axe head, he also has a great video on how to preserve axe heads and you should definitely check out his axe head collection, it is amazing, I really want to get back into back into magnet fishing at all the old ford/river crossings I know about, I spent hundreds of hours magnet fishing by myself and l found piles of piles of old iron relics, axe heads, old clothes irons, I must have left a dozen on the bank I found so many, pistols, a bayonet etc., maybe I can get me another magnet soon but I found all that stuff with an old speaker magnet, anyway hope you’re having a good week so far, peace brother!

Wow looks like some awesome finds ! I am curious about that huge green stone on the gravel bar, possibly septarian jade? You do have a good amount of quartz and jaspers for sure and hematite which makes for great points!
