@JA a) some of the single mothers are relationships which might have been described as common law marriage the past; in other words people who are single in the legal sense only having children together. b) a large part are women who were married to their kid’s dad but got divorced; c) single women who are intentionally having kids are more likely to be higher income and their children less likely to have personal and social problems, such as mental illness, low levels of education, drug abuse, alcoholism or criminality, most women who have children while single do so by accident. Their not later getting married (to the men they have children with by accident or someone else) is not the problem. The problem is not being practically economically or cognitively /emotionally prepared to have children (not having time or money to stay home with children if otherwise that is advisable, being too young, having to sort out dating or finding somebody to get married too after having children, not getting as much support from the other parent as if they were cohabitating, precarious or poor living conditions due to poverty caused by, for example having to pay someone a lot of money just to go to work, postponed or discontinued education, having forgone career opportunities because having children or being a single parent makes taking them impossible or inconvenient or generally having to to balance career with children, etc. d) most people aren’t criminals, much less violent ones, so if half of mothers are single, and far fewer children of single mothers are criminals much less violent ones, how are you picking single motherhood/parenthood out as the causal factor? e) the primary identified causal social factors for later criminality, drug abuse, various chronic diseases, certain mental illnesses, being a domestic abuser or victim of domestic violence, and early death is “adverse childhood events,” which are things like verbal/emotional/psychological abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, parental incarceration, parental criminality, witnessing household romantic partner abuse, child, or other abuse, parents who abuse substances, parental divorce or separation, and household member mental illness. Although separation or divorce are considered adverse childhood events, being raised by a single parent, in and of itself, is not. This is based on extensive research.
Women are indeed tough, not tougher than men tho'. Men are at the brink of death a lot more than a woman ever will need to be in her entire life. There's a lot more to American Football then catching the ball with your hand, try taking all those hits for years till the end of your career & that's coming from a Football (Soccer) fan. But I get it, It's jokes. True, most peeps don't give a damn about fathers day & that's horrible.
The reason Father's Day is in June is because schools out and millions of little black kids don't have to struggle having to make cards in kindergarten
@@BlkSpice how can you admit it's a joke and then ask if he really believes it? Obv. if its a joke he doesn't actually believe that its an absolute but is playing on a trend or exaggerating a perception.
You know you don't have to speak poorly of approximately half of the population in order to express admiration or appreciation for one person? You could just say you think Mia is hilarious and leave it at that.
