But be thankful because now you have received God and with him, you see your sin. Now you must turn to him for strength and guidance with his word. I gotta be honest, i did it again recently and it was only my fault. I had an urge and instead of resisting it like usually i willfully let it take control over me. I feel that this verse speaks to more then just financial poverty: it also speaks to a spiritual poverty that I and I'm sure many others have fallen into. We are so sure to go to work even when we don't feel like it, or feel a little under the weather, but we must have this mindset when it comes to the spirit as well. There are so many things that vie for our attention. Some are not even wrong or sin, but we must be careful to make sure to spend time in prayer and study of the divine word. Doing this things keep us from being broke in the spirit. It feeds our spirit to overpower our carnal man. I pray that God helps us to spend more time with him. For he is where our strength comes from. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Salvation isn't through works man. Give yourself some grace, knowing that God pours grace out onto you, always. The solution is to seek Him and His Word with all your heart, and your sin patterns will be forced out of your heart and your life. Its the only way. You can always make time to study the Bible and draw nearer to the Lord.

Brother, I pray for you. I pray that God works through you literally. For his glory, brother. Ask him to be a good "_____" THROUGH YOU, when the problem comes up. When it happens to me, if I ask God to make me "______", I find my sinful self being the one who audits whether or not God came through. This is foolishness, as it depends on the flawed perspective of the man asking for help from his God. Instead I lay myself down, and I ask God to use me to be a good father, if that's the problem at that moment, or a good husband, or worker, or friend etc. so that he may be glorified, and I can do nothing but give him thanks, and trust him MORE. Its not willfull if its almost painful to resist.If its harder to resist than to do its not willfull.Imagine i would pinch you with needle and it would hurt quite badly you would involunterarily punch me or twitch.Lord himself said you should flee when the temptation comes.

Oh god, forgive me for me and my many sins including lust. I struggle with almost every sin and I struggle to have passion for anything. I still pray I have faith god will awaken me, one day brothers I’ll have control of my sin, but for now I must be steadfast with Jesus and let him do his works upon me. This is difficult for me brothers to carry my cross and continue the journey but I know I’m not alone, the devil will always tempt me but I hope I have the strength to go to Jesus when I decide to do what the body pleases

Here for this too, I’ve been so bothered about my addiction to it. It’s funny, “God will not let you be tempted beyond what you can hear” is absolutely the complete opposite. It’s mildly upsetting, and it feels like a spit in the face if I am honest.

Everybody struggles with different things. What lust is for you are drugs for someone else. Thats your biggest challenge therefore you need to devote the most time and effort towards beating it.
I’ve struggled with lust since a teenager and has continued in to my walk with God. I can be on fire for the Most High one moment but then entangled in sin the next. I have been a Christian for 6 years and it came to the point in January this year I cried out in prayer and declared I have no power in this flesh to overcome these lustful sins I need your power. Something shifted that day . I felt lighter I no longer had the impulse to sin. I haven’t fell since, praise be to God! so I declare this over you. Who the Son sets free is free indeed! craziest thing ever. I was just randomly singing this same exact song in this video when this video caught my attention on the youtube home page. When i clicked on the video for some reason i had a feeling this video would play this type of music, telling from the thumbnail kinda matching the vibe of the picture. The second i heard the song play, i lost it.
Going to send an another message on this. I think this is the best and most relatable video for men on this site. Any issues we face, such as the sickening temptation of lust and porn, others have faced before. God will always welcome us back after our foolish paths are done. Repent earnestly, treat others with kindness and compassion and most importantly, pray.
The only way to get out of a prn addiction is to google the effects of that addiction everytime you feel someway. Or go outside. and listen to music to keep it off your mind. Its only after a month when you can truly say you've beaten the addiction

So this passage is in romans chapter 7. Hes talking about people who live according to the law and how sin is aroused by the law .flesh is sinful and the law helps a person understand that they are doing wrong yet they do it ,though the law they know its wrong, so it's like this body of ours is death how can we be delivered? From this body of death? In the end of the passage he says THANKS BE TO GOD AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST meaning through Jesus christ we can be set free how, because through him we receive the holy spirit the presence of God that we can walk in, we can walk in God's nature and not in the nature of this flesh by receiving the holy spirit through Jesus christ thats why he says Romans 7:6 ESV [6] But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.
Why not go to a Catholic mass and just watch? If you feel an inner peace or a radiance within you or waves of love or a simply interested, then ask the Priest or one of his helpers where to go from there. GOD calls us.
Seek for Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. Look for places and people that loves Jesus and praise His mighty name. I willl pray for you, i know the Holy Ghost will reach your heart and you will find inner peace and love.
Just try and find a good church nearby. One guy already recommended a Catholic Mass and that's one option, I'd also recommend a Confessional Lutheran or Anglican church as well. Really anything that's near you and is solid Biblically and preaches the Word and gives the Sacraments. Just look online at churches near you and look at their sites/sermons and visit them.
Start reading the Bible and praying would be my advice, friend. I would start in the New Testament with Matthew and Psalms in the Old Testament. Matthew provides a good understanding of Jesus' life, who he was, and the wisdom of his teachings. Psalms are poems/songs that help with prayer and developing your relationship with God. If you struggle with faith and belief in the Almighty, start with your actions and the mind will follow. God bless you ♥

Repent. come as you are to the Lord and tell him you're sorry and to forgive you, he is a Gracious merciful God and he will forgive you. Stop it brother. It’s such a struggle you will relapse I KNOW I’m still struggling but know that someone sacrificed themselves so that you are able to turn away and fix your life. None of these WORDLY pleasures will satisfy us. Search yourselves. The way to fix your life is to fix yourself within. I’m believe in you brother remember that this life is ups and downs but never take for granted the beauty of life that you can obtain. If you follow Christ He will not solve your problems or addictions. Brother my lovely beautiful brother, Christ will give you His Cross and life will only become heavier. Brother in faith, you have to struggle and fight. There is no other escape. In some battles there are no paths to escape, because your enemy will smash you if you only try it. I struggled with lust for 3 years. Through the grace and power of Almighty God I am free for 2 months now. It's the longest since I started to engage in this sin. It's not easy, my life didn't get more pleasurable, nice but I know it will get more meaningful (It has already gotten) if I won't fall. I struggle, but it's better to struggle with your body than your soul just as Lord said: Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? (Mathew 16:24-26) I pray everyday for people like you because I struggled with it myself and still struggle. I will probably lose one day also, but it's important to stand up and go further. Some tips that helped me: If you are Catholic or Orthodox go to confession continuously. If you're not, tell your parents, friends about addiction. Do exercises to keep your body fresh. Read Bible everyday. Pray everyday. Try hard not to watch videos, photos that make you lust. It's possible to win, if you believe in yourself and if you strive towards it. I will surely pray for you. God bless you!
Um… Christ does help us overcome our trials, he doesn’t leave it to us to stop with our own strength. If Jesus anyone had the strength to stop sinning, they would have broken free themselves, but no one is, that is why Jesus helps us to stop our addiction and sins
