For a read that should.blowthe top of your head off, check out kimball's most recent speech. It was excerpted in Imprimis. He goes off the deep end calling the January 6th insurrection a hoax. He should be ashamed of himself.
@@ecstanton5833 Did you read Kimball's entire article in Imprimis? I think he's on to something... I'm have trouble seeing the January 6 incident as anything close to what's been broadcast in the media. The one person that died was unarmed and killed by a Capitol Police officer and I've seen the video, she wasn't attacking him. The event has been characterized as an insurrection - a gross overstatement of what actually happened! The response was way out of proportion to the problem. This was a political rally that got out of control and nothing more. I don't have any argument in call a grossly overstated accusation or reporting of an event a "hoax".
Nice job Maddie!! Thank you for this incredible series, Hillsdale College. It feels like drinking fresh, clean water after suffering in the desert, to hear intelligent truth. Excellent speech.
Your speaker Katrina, choosing to speak outside was kind of a waste for your listeners time. I myself could neither understand or hear a word she said. The rest of the program was so very interesting especially Steven Donziger .and I agree with him completely! Thank you for the great speakers and subject matter. Ohio Here! 🤗🙏❤️😉🇺🇲
It's taken decades to get that way. What may have started with good intention in the 60s, is now something wrong in our society and we should put effort into turning this around back to what it should be: something good, open to better our society, to debate different idea in a respectful way. It will take time and effort but we can do this. The question is how? Any ideas?
The problem with this speech, as in almost all lectures today, is that the lecturer quotes and quotes and quotes but doesn't think for himself. Can a lecturer today write one paragraph without relying on someone else? Do you guys ever meditate, cogitate, ruminate?
Really? The point of traditionalist liberal thought is a reverence for the great thinkers of the past. Modern leftist “thought” dismisses what has gone before as useless. (Why should I study the past? Everything’s relative anyway.) Ever hear an original thought from a leftist?
You're saying kimball is a traditional liberal thinker? ...on what planet? Look up his latest speech excerpted in Imprimis. He calls the January 6 insurrection a hoax ala donald trump. Talk about a fall from grace. Kimball used to be respected, but he's slid so far down the nutty side of the republican rabbithole. What a disgrace.

Dude she was climbing through the window of a barricade doorway. They were trying to reach the inner chamber where the members of the house were. What do you think that crowd wanted? To shake their hands?? I’m not saying they would have killed one of them but we have no idea what would have happened. The job of the capitol security at that instance was to protect against a surging mob of people. Force was inevitable when you decide to crawl through a window after repeatedly being told to stop
What bothers me quite conspicuously is some lecturers' preference, like this gentleman's, to take shelter in their scripted orations brimful of pompous phraseology, rather than conveying their ideas with their heads up, eyes on their audience, like any self-assured person who genuinely believes in whatever they're talking about should do.
