You are honestly too knowledgeable and well spoken for those buffoons. The staff, the cops, some of the public simply cannot understand. You can see the pause as they struggle to process what you just said. Then their batteries start to die down and they just stare. Then the pre programmed spark starts up and they resume the nonscence again.

You are well educated, college or not. You don’t have to attend a college to be educated. I can tell from your verbal skills and logic and thought pattern that you are more savy than any college graduates that I know.
I can see how the uneducated can think what you're doing is just being a menace or for "clicks" and "likes" but I thank God for what you do! Police need to know where they stand. The should never be tyrannical or abuse theory power. Too many citizens are treated unfairly.
I went to law school. I have 4 university degrees - studied in 3 different countries on two different continents. And yes, I have a Juris Doctor ( Doctorate of Jurisprudence ) and I worked as a paralegal , inter alia, after finishing school. However, none of my degrees or work experience has anything to do with the knowledge base of another person. None of my degrees indicate expertise in a field. You simply saw a man attempt to make an argument from authority - an old school logical fallacy - because he had no logical ground upon which to stand. Good job, James. Keep up the great work.
James, when cops show up at a federal post office and you start trying to educate them about their department having or not having an agreement with the Post Office/Postal Inspector to be there with guns and/or enforce something, ask them WHY there are federal Postal Inspectors, Federal Police and federal regulations, rules and policies including what Poster 7 right there on the wall says and the memo the Department of Homeland Security put out on citizens recording in public places?
It's disturbing to know these postal employees walk right by their rules everyday and don't even know them.If that happens in the private sector they would be fired on the spot.

PUBLIC SERVANTS ARE TAUGHT THAT FOR LEGAL REASONS THEY CAN DO NO WRONG SO ANY POSTER THEY THINK MUST STATE ALL THE THINGS THE PUBLIC CANT DO. SO WHEN A POSTER STATES THAT FILMING IS ALLOWED THE STAFF CANT BELEAVE IT.

TTA, Just a couple of points to hopefully add strength to your efforts. (1) When the officer who read poster 7 and gave the example of Taco Bell, you correctly pointed out that Taco Bell was a private business, whereas the Post Office is public. You commented that there was a "thin line" separating the two. That line in the public's mind may be thin but it is clearly well marked and differentiated by law. (2) When you point out that there are facility video cameras in place and, again correctly, point out that you can obtain those videos under the FOIA, you are assuming the general public understands what FOIA means. The general public does not know. Just randomly ask 30 people (not working for a public agency) what a FOIA request is... the results may surprise you. Hope these thoughts help. You do great work.

When the police seen you weren't doing anything that was illegal, they should have just educated the staff, & turned around & walked away. I hate when police try to give directives when no laws are being broken. Kathy is one of the worst employees i ever seen working customer service. She actually said "we love complaints." The way she talks to the public is disgusting.
Now ITS FUNNY he wants the police to have permission to come to the post office when they don’t agree with you. But when they agree with you - You have no problem.. .HELP me to understand you sir ? Respectfully.
