It’s genius cuz who’d listen to the “idiot.” That’s what I love about Ashton Kutcher and Lisa Kudrow. They played idiots, but in real life people are so surprised by Kutcher’s and Kudrow’s IQ and their academic achievements.
For context, his "wife" is someone who he married so that she could get her green card. She repays him by helping him smuggle a security card disguised as a credit card into the prison, hence the "going shopping" line. Great show and worth the watch if you haven't seen it :)
I love how none of them would even be there with the hope of escape without Michael's brain and boldness. Soon as they have to do some work towards it, they complain about it. I can see why Michael wanted the least amount of people on the operation as he could. He thinks of the bigger picture and even his cell mate's small time thinking and impulsiveness is a detriment to the whole plan. T Bag was the wild card he would have traded almost anybody for. Better to have a mindless beefcake that will do ask he asks than a clever and conniving inmate that is smarter than you think

Explanation: His marriage to the women was for her to her her citizenship into the country- her green card- and in return he asked her for a credit card that he made prior coming to prison, and that card has access to certain prison rooms via electronic card access And there’s a thing you can book in prison, a room, to spend some time with ur spouse- doing yk what But Micheal (the buzz cut guy) booked it to get that credit card for his escape plan And him going shopping isn’t literal but his way to go around the prison to continue his escape plan
Binge watched this show every summer for about 3 years straight. I haven’t watched the show since Covid started tho. Thinking about going back and binge watching it again🤣 The show is too good
For anyone who needs context: He actually married a very rich man, and only got sent to prison because he had a shoplifting problem. So when his "wife" came by he was actually giving him money to buy cigarettes, so when he said "going shopping" he actually meant he eas buying cigarettes.
I've always just thought if he cared to explain that statement or if he just left it off there. Imagine this being the end of his line and he doesn't say anything afterwards and the rest of the crew is just like "what?"
That line by abruzzi never made sense to me. As if they all don't know that Michael is the one who is leading them out of the jail. Meanwhile, Cnote is the main one complaining in there and he never brought anything to the table.
He’s eating up literally everything else they need to use lol. They dig this one hole while,he set up the wall behind the toilet, the air vent from that room to the medical office and then the bars to escape. I might’ve missed something but he did so much more
the moral of this: don't work hard work smart and let others work for you so that you can you get rich 😂😂😂😂 in this scene, the tea bag won Scofield that's' why he completed Prison break with his character
